The Mortal Instruments:Life After Sebastian Died.

Part one

After Jace asked me if I wanted to be a Herondale, I was so happy that I could of cried. I didn't of course. Shadowhunters hardly ever cry. Later that night Jace and I went back to the old Herondale mansion that no one had been in for many years.

Jace had been given the key to the mansion so we went in and looked around. When we walked in it was amazing. It was just like the mansions and castles in fairytales, only this was real. "This is amazing!" I said in awe.

"Yeah I know, and you could live here with me if you would like. We could be together forever."

"I would love to live here with you Jace." He looked at me and smiled his crooked smile that I only saw rarely now.

As we started to tour the mansion, I realized it was a lot like the institute, just fancier and more beautiful. There was a huge kitchen and dining room. There was a living room with beautiful velvet furniture and a fireplace. There was a library that looked almost identical to the institutes library. When we walked down the hallway from the library I saw a huge, beautiful spiral staircase that seemed to go on forever. Once we finally got to the top of the stairs there was many different hallways to go down. I started going down a hallway that was right in front of us but, Jace grabbed my arm and said "Come here, I want to show you another room first."

"Okay." As I followed him down a small hallway I saw huge red wooden double doors. "Jace."

"Yeah?"

"What's in that room?"

"You will see when we go in there." he said with a smirk. When we got to the double doors he pushed them open and I had to stand on my tip-toes to see over his shoulder. When we walked in I saw an amazingly beautiful bedroom. It had a shiny wood floor with different bookshelves, lamps, and dressers lining the walls. Then, in the middle of the room was a few stairs and then a king size bed with lace curtains all the way around the bed.

"This is the most beautiful bedroom I have ever seen."

"This will be our room." he said as he put his arm around my waist. I smiled and turned to face him.

"This will be the most amazing place to live, especially if its with you."

"Well who else would there be to live with?" he said jokingly.

"No one."

"Exactly." he said as he leaned down to kiss me. "And once we move in, there will be no one else. Just you and me."

"Well of course." I said, mimicking his tone from before. He smiled and leaned down to kiss me again.
