As he Walks Away....
The Moon shines brightly down,
as I turn my head to look around.
I see him rise with the men.
I look away from him again.
There he stands so tall,
be fore my Father, be fore us all.
Three fingers on his head,
three stripes,
all a deep red.
I watch him all the while,
but I'm finally unable to smile.
I watch as he stands and starts to walk away.
Spirits, I wish he would stay.
He turns his head and looks my way.
Spirits, if I could only say....
"I love you Sokka. Stay with me."
But I can't do it. It just can't be....
I hear his footsteps down the hall,
growing smaller,
until I can hear nothing at all....
Nothing feels right.
The necklace at my throat feels so tight.
I have a feeling,
I'm going to die tonight....
There goes my Love....
There goes the rest of my Life....
A/N: This Poem is based off of that one moment in "Siege of the North- Part 1" (I think that's the Episode, but it might be the one before that....) when Sokka volunters to fight for the Northern Watertribe. As you can tell I did it in Yue's P.O.V. I wrote this really fast, so it's not one of my best. O.O;
