The stars were twinkling brightly in the moonless sky. Spin wasn't one to appreciate things like that but the warm arms wrapped around him made looking up at the boring sky worth it. One arm untagled itself from him and pointed up at the stars.
"That's the north star" a beautiful voice said. It's the only star in the sky that never moves. Well, technically it moves but at such a miniscule amount that it can be considered stationary. And if you follow that over to those stars" the man said moving his finger to point at a new cluster of stars. "There is the big dipper. It has different named but in America it's referred to as a bog dipper. See if you connect the stars…" Spin closed his eyes and turned his head so his cheek was resting against the older boy's chest. "Spin? Are you listening?"
"No" Spin smirked into the gray shirt of the man holding him.
"Brat" the older boy chuckled, no anger in his voice. The arm wrapped back around Spin. Very slowly Spin looked up to see the face of Chase davenport. Chase kept his gaze to the sky but Spin could tell his boyfriend was paying attention to him. The way his heart beat faster and his lips twitched every few seconds as if trying to hide a smile were the signs. Chase used to tease him like this, pretending he wasn't paying attention but it didn't take Spin to find a way to stop it.
His smaller arms began to move upwards but Chase's arms tightened, squeezing spin, restraining him against his chest.
"No you don't cutie" Chase said softly. "Be good or you'll be the one being…" Spin spin himself once around to break from Chase's hold. He threw himself onto Chase, pushing his back against the ground. Before Chase could even react ten fingers were at his pits tickling him mersilesly.
"No!" Chase laughed out. HE tried to twist away but the aganizing tickling pain stopped him from doing anything. "Spiiiiin!" He whined. The younger boy laughed. With a smug smile he gave Chace pity and stopped. Chase's limbs slumped and he breathed a sigh of relief. "brat" Chase said again.
"And you love it" Spin chuckled. He pushed himself slightly upwards so they were eye to eye.
"Yea." Chase whispered. "I do love you."
"I said it!" Spin squeaked, cheeks going red.
"I know what you said" Chase said. He tipped his chin upward just enough to lay a soft kiss against the blushing boy's lips." A shiver went through spin that he hadn't felt since their first kiss.
