A/N: A lyric poem for the pair that shall always leave footprints in my heart...
A/N 1/25/14: This poem is one of several I wrote last year in a small booklet. I have decided to expand this to include some of the other poems I wrote as well. I hope you enjoy!

"Tales of Two Friends"
They thought that it was funny
When they hurt an innocent kid
Upon my face they liked to pound
So I took myself and hid.
Hiding out here all alone
What's wrong with being me?
Sticks and stones sure break MY bones
And words certainly hurt me.
This life of mine, I had no peace
Rare solace had I found
In the library, where they couldn't reach
And I couldn't hear their sound.
Hiding in my books, alone
What's wrong with being me?
If you'd made an effort to atone
We could've been friends, you see?
I followed him, the blue stranger
So fast upon his feet
But little did I know right then
My hero I would meet.
He told me I was not alone
Nothing's wrong with being me.
So what if they shun you, li'l bro?
You're worth a lot to me.
He saved me from an evil man
That's where it all did start
Since then, many things have changed
But we're never far apart.
Now I know I'm not alone
No matter what they believe
Because his friendship I can call my own
The blue hedgehog…and me.
Delta Rae: Aw, thanks. Hm...I think maybe an hour or two? I don't really keep track. Maybe I should. Thank you. "Sweet but sad"-I like that.
Guest: Well, I imagine Tails was very lonely until he met Sonic. And yes, I like what you said about loving yourself. "You gotta love yourself before you can ever love me," as LifeHouse said. Love that song. :D Thank you.
Claire-Starsword: Aww, that makes me feel happy that my words made someone else have no words. Eheh. Thanks.
Tayler Jensen: Do I know you from somewhere? ... Heh heh. Thank you very much, and I will certainly keep going!
