This is another one-shot. Enjoy
"Erm, Aneisha," called Mrs King, as Aneisha ran past her door, on the way to the caretaker's cupboard. She ran past, the skidded to a halt at hearing her auntie's voice. She walked back to the doorway.
"Yes, auntie?" she asked.
"I'd like to have a little chat. Is now a good time?"
"No, not really. I was on my way to H ... to help, erm, to help Tom with his science project." What? Why did I come up with THAT? That is the most pathetic excuse ever. Why did Tom's name pop into my head? Was I thinking about Tom? Yes, alright, I must have been, but why? It's not like I have a crush on him or anything, is it? I don't, I don't, I mean, come on, he's my best friend, I don't fancy him. I DON'T!
"Oh, well, if you could come and see me at interval, we'll talk then." Aneisha nodded, and went along to the caretaker's cupboard.
After a successful mission, the team were exhausted. They were lazing around at base.
"What time is it?" asked Aneisha.
"Twenty-three past eleven." replied Tom, consulting his watch.
"Oh, gotta go then. Be right back." called Aneisha as she went back into the lift
Aneisha knocked on her aunt's door.
"Come in," replied Mrs King "Ah, Aneisha I'd like to have a little chat."
"Oh?" asked Aneisha, silently praying that it wasn't about M.I. High.
"It's about the company you've been keeping. Quite frankly, you are far too young for a boyfriend."
"Okay, first, I don't have a boyfriend, second, I'm 16, and third, WHAT?"
"Aneisha, don't pretend you don't know who I'm talking about. I know you're a very bright girl, and you some may say it's due to hanging around with this person. As your aunt, I am telling you that you aren't allowed a boyfriend."
"I still don't know what you're talking about, auntie." replied Aneisha. Weirdly enough, she had a pretty good idea what her aunt wanted.
"Thomas. You seem to spend a lot of time with him. Are you sure there isn't something you should be telling me?" replied Mrs King.
Aneisha didn't know how her auntie had noticed. She and Tom weren't dating anyway. Well, not in reality. Only in her fantasies. It was weird. If you had told her before M.I. High, that she would fancy Tom, she would tell them to go get their brain tested. Now if you said that, she would merely blush.
"Auntie, me and Tom aren't dating, and even if we were, you wouldn't be able to do anything about it!" she yelled.
"That's no way to speak to me!" cried an outraged Mrs King, as Aneisha stormed out of her office. As Aneisha walked out, she bumped into Tom.
"Woah, where are you going?" asked Tom. Aneisha noticed that Mrs King had stuck her head around her office door, and was watching them.
"To find you." she replied, pulling him into a hug, much to his astonishment, and Mrs King's annoyance.
My mother was stubborn, she passed that gene onto me, and also onto my sister, and my sister's passed it onto Aneisha. Ah well, it's a Jones and King and Rivers (pretend this is Aneisha's mother's maiden name, and also Mrs King's) trait. It's genetics. I would have been the same at her age thought Mrs King. She still thought Aneisha was too young for a boyfriend, but at least she'd found someone she liked. Mrs King smiled a secret smile to herself, as she watched the two walk into a classroom as the bell sounded. She wondered if they knew they were in love.
Sorry it's so short. Please review so I know what people think about it.
