Yes, I decided to turn Discord Japanese because... well he's Discord and you can pretty much do whatever you want with him and it would be acceptable no matter what. I apologize if my Japanese is off; I had to use a Google translator to get the quotes. If somepony spots some errors, please let me know so I can fix them. Arigatogozaimasu.
Fluttershy awoke early as usual that morning. Everything seemed normal as she flew over to draw open the curtains on her bedroom window. She expected to look out her garden and see it just as it usually was, but when she did, she noticed that her garden was different. It wasn't in any ruin, and yet, it wasn't in any order either.
Things in her garden seemed asymmetrical, yet well balanced. Tree branches and flowers grew at different lengths, moss grew in different patches on rocks and trees, rocks were placed carefully in a bed of raked pebbles, It wasn't chaotic nor orderly.
Fluttershy flew outside to look around and in the middle of the garden saw Discord wearing Heian era Neighponess clothing.
"Ohaiogozaimasu! Anataha, watashi haanatano niwa deyatteirukotoga suki desuka?
Fluttershy didn't understand a word he said nor why her garden was so different now.
"What is all of this?" asked Fluttershy.
"Wabi-sabi: the art of imperfect perfection."
Discord presented Fluttershy with some tea and sweets.
"Care for some matcha and wagashi?"
Fluttershy didn't want to seem rude, so she sat down next to him and took the cup of tea.
"I don't quite understand. How can something be both perfect and imperfect?"
"Fluttershy, without chaos, there would be no harmony. As much as both forces try to oppose one another, they're really all the same."
"I don't get it."
"Sometimes chaos is more obvious like when a cotton candy cloud starts to rain chocolate milk, but other times it takes more subtle guises. Perhaps a knot on a tree, a blade of grass starting to brown on the edges, or a pegasus pony with eyes that point in different directions. Some may consider these things to be offensive, but its those subtle imperfections that help bring out their true beauty."
Discord took a sip of his tea.
"I never thought of it that way." said Fluttershy, "The way you put it, its almost as if its nature's way to be a little chaotic."
"Exactly." said Discord, "Even if something is off, it can still show its beauty."
Discord looked over at the tree he was sitting under.
"I noticed this cherry tree has missed blossoming season, but my calculation, it should start blooming... now."
Just as Discord said, the blossoms of the cherry tree started to bloom almost instantaneously. Fluttershy's eyes widened in awe at the trees performance of it sheer beauty.
"I knew you would take some appreciation from this short lesson."
"I do." said Fluttershy, "Thank you Discord."
"Anataha, watashi no chuujitsu na seito douitashimashite."
And with that, Discord and Fluttershy continued sipping tea under the cherry tree.
It maybe a little OOC, but considering Discord's reformation, he could still use chaos for good. Anyways, please R&R.
