Nick was on his way out of the classroom when someone put a hand on his shoulder. He turned around with a surprised yelp only to see the smiling face of the new Warbler.
"Hi, sorry, didn't mean to freak you out!" he chuckled. "Sebastian. You're Nick, right?"
Nick shook his hand and nodded. "So since I'm new here, and you seem to be trusted by the rest of the guys, can I talk to you for a sec?"
"Yeah..sure" Nick answered, wondering what exactly was going on. Even after hearing the news that he'd be getting a solo after Blaine had transferred, he wasn't really used to the attention.
Sebastian led him into an empty hallway before turning to face him.
"So, this Blaine guy. I hear people mention him every now and then, who is he?"
Nick was a bit surprised by the guy's curiousity but shrugged. "He was the lead singer of the Warblers, his stage presence is very well-known around here, he's a great performer."
"What happened to him?"
"He transferred to McKinley, a public school."
Sebastian looked genuinely disgusted and Nick assumed that he thought what the rest of them had too; why would anyone choose a public school with a pretty bad reputation over a place like Dalton?
Feeling like he had to defend Blaine's decision, Nick added "His boyfriend is there, Blaine wanted to be closer to him."
This seemed to spark Sebastian's interest as he leaned forward with a smirk. "So he's gay? I see..."
For a second Nick was scared that this guy might not be okay with gay people and hoped he hadn't screwed up, but calmed down when Sebastian continued, "Is he hot?"
Nick laughed at the blunt question. "Umm.. I guess..", he blushed. Sebastian quirked an eyebrow at him to make him continue.
"Okay, yeah. Yeah, he's hot. He's more than that.. his moves, his voice and his eyes and... He's really sexy." Nick finished, blushing even more furiously after his outburst. "I'm just gonna go, okay? See you around." Nick left quickly, leaving Sebastian standing in the hallway. He couldn't wait to meet this Blaine guy.
