Faleen awoke from a restless sleep. Her eyes were foggy and she felt cold. She reached over for Calcelmo's warmth but her fingers met only bare sheets. She yawned and slipped out of bed in search of the scholar.

He was not hard to find. Calcelmo sat hunched over candles and a book of sorts. He seemed oblivious to her entrance and everything else in the study. She draped her arms around his neck. "My love, what are you doing up so late?"

"Working on a new volume of my Inquiries. The information I have recently acquired will help me make great strides with my research."

Faleen always wondered why Calcelmo was so fascinated with the Dwemer. They were an interesting subject, perhaps more enticingly mysterious than usual but she failed to see the reason why one would become obsessed with an ancient, long-gone race. She noticed a strange mechanism that closely resembled a bow. "What's that?"

He followed her finger. "Oh, that's a Dwarven Crossbow. A mutual friend of ours retrieved it for me. Fascinating weapon, certainly an unexpected boon to my research."

Faleen felt restlessness grow in her chest. She just wanted to go back to sleep, with Calcelmo. "Can't you continue your research tomorrow, love? It's late."

"Almost finished, my dear."

She huffed silently. When he said that, it meant "Not until morning." 'Guess I'll have to resort to drastic measures.'

She undid the straps on her nighty, letting her firm breasts get some air. "Wouldn't you rather research these?"

He turned around, to her relief and his eyes went wide. "Ah..well I should really be getting back to.."

"Don't you want to make some inquiries? They're begging for attention."

She juggled them up and down to get her point across.

Calcelmo rose from his seat rather hurriedly and followed her come hither gesture. When they finally collapsed into bed together, exhausted from their efforts, the scholar observed her with a critical eye. "Your bounteous bosom has brought something to my attention. I wonder what Dwemer child rearing entailed."

Faleen smiled and rolled her eyes. Mer and their research...
