The Miracle of a Swing of a Tennis Racket

Jenna is a 10 year old girl, whose family lived in a rather boring little house. Their house was like a helpless little fly stuck on a spider's web. Reading was her strongest and most favorite talent of hers. Over her life she had always loved to read. She even read her first book when she was only a mere three year old. Oddly enough "book" was even her first word. Then on for those seven years she explored the adventures and worlds in the books, and the portal to them were all of her books. Unluckily reading wasn't her family's obsession; it wasn't her little brothers at all either. So her talent was an unknown mystery for who had passed the talent to Jenna.

Silently Jenna was reading a book on a verdure lounge by a dimming lamp. Almost there she murmured as she was reading her fifth wide book of the day, she was only three pages away from finishing. Suddenly her mom stepped through the doorway smiling, "Honey?" she asked happily. What Jenna said keeping her eyes on the bold ebony print of the book. I signed you up for that tennis class on Mediar Drive!" She answered even more enthusiastically. Jenna stopped reading immediately smacking the book on her lap shut, "you signed me up for that!" she said in the most deepened sinister voice she had and her glasses slipped down to the brim of her nose. Nodding to tell her it was true her mom's smile turned to a frown. "Mom you know I hate all sports, and when I mean all I mean every single one of them! Her glasses fell to the ground this time. "I thought it would be a good experience!" her mom said her face tomato red. Picking up her glasses Jenna yelped, "Well you thought wrong!" not wanting to hurt her mother's feelings. "Too bad you are going. I paid, I signed you up, you go!" she motioned Jenna to the car angrily. Walking outside to the car Jenna grunted and her mom followed her each step landing angrily stepping along the path to the car. Getting into the car she tought I wopuld rather die than go, oh why me, oh why. The engine started and in no time the car was off. Looking at the trees passing by the crystal clear windows Jenna thought I'm gonna make a fool out of myself……………I would rather be reading. Getting closer and closer the car swiftly turned to the right and then proceeded driving straight again. All the houses on the street looked like mixed up puzzle pieces waiting to be fitted together. A daydream caught her mind. In her daydream she was swinging and then she clumsily fell onto a pile of tennis balls. Stopping the engine growled as the car was parked. Jenna daydream was over, she hopped out of the car on the uneven surface.Oh and that daydream was helpful she thought about it sarcastically as she walked onto the tennis court.
