Author's note: Hi so I always wondered how the turtles would celebrate holidays with their friends. So I decided to make this collection of one-shots….where they celebrate the holidays from when they were little up until after they end the 2012 series. I don't own T.M.N.T. or the characters. The first one will be the turtles 5th b-day…..yes I think that they would consider it a holiday with them calling it "Mutation Day".
Chapter 1: 5th b-day (mutation day)
In the Dojo:
Splinter has just finished his meditation at the time that he decided to wake his boys up. It's hard for him to believe that on this day five years ago that his life was changed forever.
He then left the Dojo and headed for his sons room. Today was going to be a very special birthday for his boys.
The Turtle's room:
Four little now Five year old turtles were sleeping on a lot of sheets that were like a nest. Then their father came in.
"My sons it's time to get up. You have a big day ahead of you."
His oldest son woke up and smiled at him. "Morning father."
Splinter smiles, "Good morning my son….Would you wake your brothers who seem to not have heard me, while I go and make breakfast."
"Of course…"
Splinter smiles and leaves the room to go and make breakfast. As he leaves the room he hears Leonardo yell, "Guys hurry up and get up! Today's are b-day and daddy wants us up."
Splinter smiles and heads to the kitchen.
******30 minutes later after the turtles arrive into the Kitchen******
The boys are all eating with their father watching them. Splinter is smiling happily seeing that his boys were growing up fast.
"Boys I have decided to give you all something very special this year."
"Oh oh what is it, what is it!?" his youngest son Michelangelo started to excitedly shout causing his brothers to glare at him for being so energetic.
"Calm yourself Michelangelo."
He stops and says, "Sorry daddy."
Then the boys finish their breakfast. They all head into the Dojo with Splinter.
"Now boys I've brought the four of you into the Dojo today because I've decided that I will start to teach you the Ninja Arts."
The boys all look at him excitedly.
"So I can now be able to be a great Ninja Master like you father?" (Leo)
"Yes Leonardo, but here in the Dojo you will call me Sensei which is Japanese for Teacher, when we are in here."
"Daddy…..I mean Sensei?" (Mikey)
"Yes Michelangelo?"
"Are you also going to be teaching us more Japanese?"
"Yes my son."
Then Raph raised his hand.
"Yes Raphael?
"Are we going to be getting weapons?"
"Yes…but right now you won't be. You need to learn to fight without weapons before you could use them. I'm now going to give you all something since it's your "Mutation Day."
"What is it?!" all three of the boys shout.
That day, that they celebrated their 5th b-day (mutation day) is the day that Splinter gave them their masks. Leo and Raph fought about how Leo got to have the blue mask but then Raph became calm when he got the Red one. Donnie got the purple one and then last but not least Mikey got an orange mask.
The boys were very happy to have a mask of their own, to wear on their faces. They didn't know how much the mask would mean to them in the future though…..
