Sasuke was growing irratible. Naruto's unmerciful rambling pounded his ears every second. What was it called..

idiocy? How do you even get that moronic? Sasuke's mind ran wild with thoughts of Naruto's annoying behavior.

Team 7 were taking a walk together, a rather rare occcurance. Kakashi was somewhere that they didn't know,

but they figured that they would manage without him on a simple stroll.

"I'm turning back. You two can keep going on without me if you want." announced Sasuke nonchalantely.

Naruto's expression turned into one of concern.

"What's wrong, Sasuke?" Asked Naruto. "Tired?"

"Yeah.." said Sasuke, sitting down for a brief break.

Sakura ran her hand through her short hair, staring suspisiously at Sasuke.

"What do you want?" Asked Sasuke, noticing Sakura and Naruto pause in front of him.

"If you want, we can walk back with you. It's no fun if it's not all three of us." suggested Sakura considerately.

Sasuke gazed to the grassy ground, slightly left of his lap. A tiny ant crawled through the blades of grass,

stealing Sasuke's focus momentarily.

"I'd rather be on my own. I think i'll stay here for a while." responded Sasuke. A light breeze blew through his

hair, revealing his forehead. The sun shone down on his knee, the tree behind him shading the rest of his body

from the scorching heat of summer.

"Oh well. I think we should go back anyways. It's way too hot out here without water to keep us hydrated,"

mentioned Sakura. Naruto nodded in agreement. Sasuke kept silent in protest, and both Naruto and Sakura proceeded

back to Konoha to rest some more.

"Imbeciles." Muttered Sasuke. He closed his eyes, his mind thinking back to when he was very young, climbing on

his brother's back, seeing him practice, and remembering back when he used to run from his house to greet him

as he came back from training.

"You know Sakura," started Naruto.

"Yes?" said Sakura with an annoyed tone.

"I know that you are supposed to be all smart and all, but have you noticed the ninja following us this entire

time?"

Sakura was shocked. What ninja was Naruto talking about? How did she not notice him?

Naruto giggled.

"Hinata!" Called Naruto. "Don't be shy! Come walk with us!"

Hinata blushed, jumping down from a leafy tree.

"So there really was someone following us? How didn't I notice?" Sakura complained.

"Hey, Hinata! Whats up?" Asked Naruto, a smile plastered on his face.

"H-ello, Naruto-kun.." said Hinata timidly.

"You're always so shy! Why were you following us? You know you can just talk to us, right?" Said Naruto,

still smiling.

"Sorry!" Yelled Hinata, running speedily ahead of them.

"Wait!" Called Naruto, his hand extended.

"Nice going." commented Sakura.

"Oh well! At least I have you with me." Naruto said.

'Just who I was looking for...' thought Orichimaru, seeing Sasuke sleeping under a large tree.
