Just a drabble as they all will be! Just so you know Aria and Ezra are my favourite couple and my stories will be based on the book's events instead of the show. But if I decide otherwise, I will let you all know. Enjoy and don't forget to review! :)
Aria Montgomery was standing in the empty halls of Rosewood Day. She was meant to be in class but snatched the hall pass from her AP English room and retreated to the quiet halls. James Freed had been talking about Ezra Fitz, their English teacher. He had gossiped to the whole row that Ezra 'got around' a lot... with women. Aria couldn't believe it. They weren't seeing each other anymore but apparently he was with a girl when they were together.
Aria instantly felt sick and fled the room. The door to her classroom opened and Noel Kahn approached. He was a boy that had become a fan of Aria. She kissed him to make Ezra jealous but he never knew that.
"Hey, why did you leave?" Noel asked. He certainly wasn't the consoling type.
"I just felt sick all of a sudden. I'm fine, go back inside," Aria replied staring at the ground.
"Tell me what's wrong!" Noel demanded. Aria looked up surprised. Why the hell would Noel be getting angry?
"I said I'm fine, now go away!" She replied just as sharp. She felt a grip on both of her arms and they were tightening. Noel looked at her with fury in his eyes but fear was in Aria's. The door opened and Ezra stepped out.
As soon as he saw the scene, he rushed over. "Noel!" Ezra exclaimed. By now Aria could feel her arms bruising and tears were already in her eyes. "Go to the principal's office now," Ezra hissed.
He touched Aria's arms lightly where the red marks of Noel's hands had been. "Aria..." He began but Aria twisted from his touch. Ezra looked at her wishing he was able to take into his arms without anyone gasping in horror.
"Get away from me!" Aria croaked.
Ezra's eyes flashed and confusion was clear on his face. "What?" He asked. Aria walked backwards, away from Ezra. Tears fell and ran continuously from her eyes.
Ezra watched her run from the hall and disappear. He dropped his head and went back into the classroom.
