A/N: Hi there! :)) This was written for the Romantic Drabble Challenge and the Prompt of the Day for Hogwarts Online. :) Prompts are found at the note below! :) Enjoy.

She hardly ever looks at mirrors anymore.

Because whenever she does, she's reminded of a time when he was still alive.

Mirrors had been their friends. It's a funny concept, really, or at least it would be if anything could ever be funny again.

Because there are times when the world is just dreary, all black-and-white, with not a rainbow over the horizon.

But mirrors were their friends. Any reflection was. They had been a good-looking couple, she knew, with him so strong and handsome and her so petite and dainty.

Maybe it was a vain thought, but she had liked mirrors back when she had been with him. Maybe just to remind herself that she could be pretty, that someone loved her and thought that she was pretty, and that there was someone by her side that was worth living for.

Because they had often looked at mirrors before, with him laughingly trying to pull her away and with her insisting that they stay a little bit longer, just to see if her make-up was all right and if her hair was perfect.

And each time, he'd protest, saying, "But you're perfect. You're already beautiful." He'd lean down to whisper in her ear, "And you're always beautiful. Inside and out."

Then she'd accuse him of flattery and he'd say that flattery wasn't flattery if it was the truth. And the mirror would be forgotten and they'd lose themselves in each other's eyes until one of them said "I love you."

She hardly looks at mirrors anymore.

Because whenever she does, there's no whisper that calls her beautiful.

Instead, she's all alone. But just because they can't be together, doesn't mean she won't love him.

So those few times whenever she looks in the mirror? They're all for him.

Her Cedric.

Because Cho knows he wants her to stay beautiful, if not for her, then for him.

So she looks in the mirror from time to time, just to see if her make-up is all right and if her hair is perfect.

But each time she does, she's reminded that everything's different now.

That her Cedric's gone.

That she's all alone.

And that there's no whisper in her ear that calls her beautiful.

A/N: My pairing was Cho/Cedric and my prompt from the Romantic Drabble Challenge were whisper, walk, and mirror. My prompt from Hogwarts Online was "Just because we can't be together, doesn't mean I won't love you!"

Reviews are always greatly, greatly appreciated. Please and thank you! :))
