Raising Clint

Disclaimer: I do not own Loki, Clint, or any of the other Avengers (should they make appearances)!

Author's Note: I'm co-writing this with Rachel (AshleyPurdyForEver from deviantArt)! This is just a cute story that she and I are doing! :)

Summary: Clint has sumehow been turned into a 3-year-old child and Loki is raising him, with some help from the other Avengers.

Loki is in his bedroom in Stark Tower, holding little Clint in his lap and rocking in his rocking chair that's next to the windows in the room, happy and content. Clint was happy rocking in the rocking chair with his Daddy.

He looked up at his Daddy and said, "Daddy?"

"Yes, Clint?" Loki replied, looking down at his little boy.

"Will you please read me a story?"

Loki smiles happily at Clint, "Of course I shall, darling."

Loki picks up Clint and walks over to his bookcase that was on the far wall of the room. "So, what story would you like me to read to you today?"

"I want you to read The Very Hungry Caterpillar please, Daddy!"

Loki smiles at his sweet little boy, "Alright."

Loki takes the book off the shelf, walks back to his rocking chair, and reads the story to Clint, who falls asleep on his chest halfway through. Loki puts the book aside, carries Clint to his room, and tucks him into bed for his nap. Loki gently kisses little Clint's forehead, murmurs, "I love you, my son", and quietly leaves the room with a soft smile of contentment on his face as he closes the door.
