Mbeep Meep Meep!
Dean groaned, stretching his right arm up in an attempt to hit the snooze button. Motel alarm clocks had to be among the most obnoxious creations in existence. He especially didn't want to disturb Castiel, curled up on Dean's chest and sleeping— well, like an angel. Neither of the two were exactly 'morning people,' but Cas could get particularly grumpy. As an angel, sleep hadn't been necessary for Castiel. Being human was more complicated than he'd ever dreamt. Sighing, Dean wrapped his arms around Castiel's bare shoulders, pressed his lips to the angel's forehead, and whispered "Five more minutes, Cas."
"I'd prefer an eternity," Cas grumbled back, burying his face deeper into Dean's shoulder. The childish action made Dean smile. This quickly turned into a yawn, followed by a long stretch.
"Dean, stop moving." Castiel snapped; yet another gloomy, all too human morning.
"Hm-mm," Dean chuckled mischievously, playfully rolling Cas onto the mattress. The morning sky outside their window was crisp and blue, not the sort of day Dean would yield to such a dark attitude. Hoping to perk Cas' *ahem* "spirit," Dean worked his way along Castiel's exposed collarbone, brushing his lips here and there in the lightest of kisses. He wasn't at it long before Cas groaned defeat and opened his eyes, his angel breath coming in gasps. Dean pulled himself up so that Castiel's face lay just centimeters beneath his own. Leaning in even closer for what promised to be an intensely passionate kiss, Dean murmured "Good Morning, Sunshine."
