Linda didn't dare move. She sat Indian-style, not daring to move a muscle, not daring even to breath. She had been captured by one of the monsters who had slain her friends. Her breath was shallow as her captor's fingers ran across her neck. She could smell his body, she could smell the mix of dampness and blood on his skin. He nuzzled her neck playfully, the faintest glimpse of a smile crossed his face. Linda slowly turned to look at him. Black eyes, the long black hair pulled in a messy ponytail. Then she looked at her surroundings, the lanterns and the candles, his only source of light. She spotted the body of a girl, the body of no one she knew. His sister, maybe? She didn't want to ask him.

Could he even speak……?

Linda thought about her situation. Well, this boy had saved her from being killed. Brother slaying brother…….

She belonged to him now. From now on, it was them. No one else. Carry on the tradition. She looked at him once more, mixed feelings came through her. A sound came from his throat, a sound like a sigh. The boy looked content - almost happy - to have her.

She made him happy, and that was all that mattered right now.

A/N: Wow……….Strange how one can turn a horror film into a romance, huh?
