Dark lay over the land, night spread locusts over Seefra 5. A young woman, calm yet frightened, walked into town, hoping that she wasn't noticed. She saw a blonde woman in a hot pink jump suit go into what looked like an establishment. She could sense two beings, supreme to her clan. One of those beings was an Avatar. And the other was a Parradine. She slowly made her way to the establishment, stopping only once to pull the hood of her cloak over her dark purple hair, gold skin and amber eyes.
When she made it to the door and reached for the handle to open it, she realized that her bone blades were showing. She didn't know how the natives would react to a Nietzchean, especially one like her. She slowly opened the door and went inside. It appeared to her that the establishment was a tavern. As she made her way to the bar, she got looks from the few people who were there.
"We're closed," said the bartender.
She still walked forward.
"I said, we're closed," The bartender said, annoyed.
She slowed her steps.
"Buddy, I said we're closed."bartender
With only 3 feet between her and the bar, she froze in place. She began to shake as people approached her. She saw a Nietzchean among the people approaching her, she turned to him and started speaking to him.
"Kulae' kaa tona ma kiki ah," She said.
The Nietzchean looked at her strangely.
"Kulae', tishi makat she' tome?" He asked.
The bartender came up to the Nietzchean.
"Who is she, Telemachus?" He asked.
"Her name is Kulae, Seamus," said Telemachus.
"Telemachus...Rhade?" Kulae gasped.
"Yes?"
Then Kulae said something in perfect english, "Aw shit," then collapsed. When Telemachus lifted Kulae, her cloak fell away. Trance gasped deeply.
"Coo."
The Parradine stepped forward.
"Dylan..."
"You know her, Trance?"
"She's my daughter, Dylan."
"But she has bone blades."
"You carved them, but her father gave them to her."
"You mean...that Telemachus..."
"Is Kulae's father. She wasn't born with the blades, likeothernietzcheans. My kind shunned her...banished her...it killed Telemachus. To lose another child. Unions between an Avatar and another not of their kind was forbidden. I begged them not to kill Kulae."
"But why does she..."
"Look like that?"
"Yeah."
"It was her choice. She didn't want turn her back on who she was. She was raised by a people who thought that the Parradine and Avatars were their superiors."
Telemachus lifted his daughter, carrying her to the bar and laying her down.
"What is wrong with her, Trance?"
"Sheer exhaustion, Telemachus," Trance sighed, "She's been running for too long."
"Why would she run?" He asked, stroking his daughter's hair.
"They want her dead, plain and simple, Telemachus, and she's afraid...she came looking for us," Trance answered, holding Kulae's hand.
"(Whisper) My poor girl," Telemachus said to Kulae, "I won't let them hurt you."
