Voldemort spent the last few moments pondering about love. It was what Dumbledore thought was more powerful than him. At one point he laughed. Love? There was no such thing. There was the attraction a person felt for the one of the opposite sex. There was the sense of duty a mother felt for her child. So why did "Love" defeat the mighty lord Voldemort, not once, but twice? Was a mother's love for her child so strong that she would be willing to die or put herself in danger for him? And did Severus really love that mudblood enough that he would betray his master for her MEMORY? and for that last second Tom Riddle felt remorse. But it was much too late.
