Disclaimer: In no way, shape, or form do I own Rahzel, Alzeid, or Baroqueheat. Nor do I own Dazzle. I just like to screw around in their word. :)

Claimer: I do, however, own all of the names and characters that you don't recognize. And yes, there will be some. No huge ones though, rest assured.

Author's Note: Not beta'd. Sorry. I only know one Dazzle fan. Personally, anyway. And she's asleep. If I wait to give her this, then it won't be posted for another week or so. And I feel that you guys deserve this now. :) So here it is.
The story is plotted out, and I know exactly what I'll do with it. So, if time and the beta reader allows, the first chapter should be posted within this upcoming week.

Edit: Second Author's Note: Yeah, I know, you want me to shut up, but this is important. More so, I believe, than the other stuff. I took this story down, then reposted it. The original one would not open through links, nor would it open through the homepage. That, of course had to be fixed. :/ So please, if the link doesn't take you to the story, and if the story 'does not exist', then tell me! Message me or email me, or something. Let me know so that I can fix it. I don't like logging onto my stats to see that no one has even looked at the story.

:PaperRoses:

There is a bitter taste in the back of her throat, one that she doesn't recognize. Because she's not bleeding, it can't be blood. And she's not sick, although she would truly like to be. It would only be right for her to fall to the same sickness that had devoured her friends, her partners. But, of course, irony was a cruel, vile thing. While they died, one by her own hand, she would be forced to live.

It was unacceptable.

I'll join you guys to drown together! So you try to save me and save yourself, too!

Right. What a load of crap.

She'd failed them both. And now she would attone for her sins, for the destruction of their friendship, for the loss of their lives.

She would attone in the only way she knew how.

Through death.

It was only that that moment that the bitterness in the back of her throat registered. Guilt.

Inhaling sharply, she gathered her shattered hope and battered courage and took one more step. When her feet touched air, she automatically scrabbled for a foothold on the land, but she was too slow, her reactions too numbed by the bitter cold. Her plummet to the icy water below had already begun, and there was no possible way to stop it.

Her last glimpse of the world was the night time sky. No longer overcast with threatening clouds, the sky was a rich dark blue hue that was only interrupted by the tiny pinpricks of distant light from the stars.

A wry smile twisted itself on the girl's face. Though not the last sight she truly wished to see, she savored the moment anyway. The night time sky would always remind her of him.

Then she hit the water's surface, and the breath was knocked from her lungs. Within minutes, her vision had faded from crystal clarity to a murky blue-black. A moment later, she saw nothing at all.

Silver: So... What'd you guys think?
Rahzel: I liked it!
Broqueheat: If Rahzel liked it, then so did I!
Silver: Barpqueheat, you're such a groupie. ::nod:: If Mina didn't like you so much, you'd be dead.
Baroqueheat: Hey, I resent that!
Girls: Whatever.
Silver: So, what'd you think, Azleid? :)
Alzeid: ....
Silver: Alzeid?
Alzeid: ....
Silver: ALZEID!
Alzeid: .... ::painted his eyelids and fell asleep; a very deep sleep::
Silver: Oh. Great. Well, I certainly feel the love. ::shoves him out of the chair and goes to stalk down some other poor soul to torment::
