When Silkie Took Over the World
One day, the EEEEEVIL menace known as Kitten was daydreaming. Not of Fang, her boyfriend, or Robin, her crush, as she was wont to do, but one of her father's other children. Granted, they weren't, really, but he liked to pretend they were, and who was she to try and say otherwise? The child she thought of was one of the larvae of her father's pet moths. From what she had gathered in her intelligence reports, he (it?) had been taken home by Beast Boy when they had infiltrated the lab months ago.
Yes, I did say intelligence reports. You honestly didn't think that a guy running around dressed as a moth was really capable of being a true criminal mastermind, did you? You did? Oh, jeez, we have no hope at all. Kitten had the best spy network in the world. Every villain who could pay her hefty fees did, if only for the VERY reliable information her network generated. She acted as she did because she needed people to underestimate her. Otherwise, who was to say she wouldn't get caught?
In any case, Beast Boy had taken the larva home, where it ate approximately everything in Titans Tower and made Boy Wonder blow a gasket. (Kitten had seen the bill for replacing the furniture and repairing the damage, and passed out from the sheer amount of cash it took.) After that, the larva was handed over to Starfire to care for, and Kitten truly wondered WHAT had possessed the leader of the Titans. Apparently, it was now named Silkie.
Well this is off topic. I was telling you what Kitten was day dreaming of. She was staring off in space, wondering about exactly how far under Silkie's control the Titans were. She knew that he had Starfire, Beast Boy, and Cyborg completely, which meant that he had Robin partially and possibly, possibly Raven wholly. This meant that he could take over the world!
She imagined that he would wear a purple cape -the color of royalty AND it complimented his pink skin- and a cute little crown marking him as EMPEROR OF THE WORLD! She guessed that even the evil Trigon would bow to the might of Emperor Silkie, who would have the Titans as his loyal subjects as well as Slade, and Red X, and a few other powerful people.
In Raven's parents' house, Trigon woke up sweating from his FRYING PAN OF DOOM-induced coma. It was bad enough he was dreaming of someone (besides him) taking over the world, but to have it be a moth larva? Ridiculous. A tiny "mew" made him shift his attention to his stomach, where there was a TINY...GREEN...KITTEN. Trigon leaped up, screaming like a school girl, turned, and promptly ran into a doorway and knocked himself unconscious once again. Beast Boy mewed again, sadistically, and decided that if he couldn't have Raven, he was gonna have fun tormenting her father.
