Author's Note: The FNAN (Flan. XD) story takes place in a fictional town in Archaic, Virginia. There will be similarities in FNAN and the FNAF game.
It is January 15, 1980. Two "twin" locations are built in Archaic, Virginia. One is called Fazbear Diner, which is on the west side of the city, and the other is called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, which is on the east side of the city. They were constructed by two brothers, John and George Fazbear. The brothers decided to split up the work
John became the owner of the diner. The diner is smaller compared to the pizzeria. The diner is made out of oak wood. A person had to climb up oak wooded stairs with oak rails to get to the entrance. The face of the building had one window, two glass doors, and a sign that reads "Fazbear Diner".
The first room a customer would see is the Party area. This area consisted of 16 rectangle-shaped tables with white table cloths and 4 grey plastic chairs at each table. The entire diner floor has a checkered tile design. Near the Party area was a stage. The stage has a red carpet and two functioning animatronics.
The lead singer of the stage was a golden bear. The bear has a black top hat with a dark purple strip, a dark purple bow-tie, blue eyes, and a microphone on his right paw. The company called him Fredbear, while the customers like to call it Goldie or Golden Freddy. The other robot was Goldie's guitarist/back-up singer. It resembled a golden bunny. It has a green bow tie and green eyes. It carries a green guitar. Everyone called it Springtrap.
There is an arcade area that has various games. Near the arcade was something called Prize Corner. It has various prizes for the kids and is run by the Puppet. This creepy yet friendly robot has a black body. On it's face was a white mask. The mask has two rosy cheeks and purple streaks of laughter. The mask made the robot have a large red lipped grin. Puppet has three white buttons. On it's arms and legs, Puppet has 5 white strips. The white pupils of the Puppet seems to make it look like it is alive.
The kitchen is not far from the Party area. It is always full of edible food. The diner has two emergency exits in case of a fire like any good eatery.
Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria is run by George. The pizzeria is significantly bigger than the diner.
The entrance of the pizzeria had two windows, glass doors, and a sign that had a picture of a brown bear, a purple bunny, a yellow chicken, and a red pirate fox that reads "Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria".
The first area that a customer sees is the Stage area. It appears to be very wide in construction with multiple small, star-shaped decorations hanging from the ceiling. Here you can find the animatronics standing and ready to play a song. Near the Stage is the Arcade area. Here, kids can play a variety of games. This includes riding on a carousel or playing in the ball pit. The Stage area has a few tables that look similar to the Party Rooms.
There are 3 main animations that can be found on the Stage area. The singer of the band is a brown bear named Freddy Fazbear. Freddy has light blue eyes, a black top hat, a black bow-tie, and it wields a microphone in its' right paw. Its' ears are articulated thus, the ears able to move back and forth. Freddy is one of the favorites among kids and adults alike.
To Freddy's left is the guitarist of the band, Bonnie. It is a lavender-colored rabbit animatronic with magenta eyes and a red bow-tie. It sports articulated ears that are capable of bending forward. Onstage, Bonnie carries a red guitar. Unlike the other characters, it has round teeth and no eyebrows.
To Freddy's right is the back-up singer Chica the chicken. It is a bright yellow animatronic chicken with a spherical shaped head. It has an orange beak, magenta eyes, and black eyebrows. Chica wears a white bib that reads "LET'S EAT!" in yellow bubble letters that are outlined in purple. The bib is flecked with tri-colored triangles. Onstage, it carries a pink cupcake. The cupcake has a brown wrapper, two large yellow eyes, and a fake yellow candle. The cupcake is jokingly called Carl by the company.
The last animatronic can be found in Pirate Cove. It's near Party Room 2. Pirate Cove has a large cylindrical purple-colored curtain. The curtains are decorated with stars and sparkles. There stands a sign in front of the curtain that reads "Pirate Time!". There are also star decorations hanging from the ceiling and the floor is wooden. The animatronic that can be found there is Foxy. Foxy is a large animatronic fox with reddish-brown tattered fur and golden eyes. It has a hook on its' right hand. Foxy also bears an eye patch that is over its' right eye. Foxy is usually seen with it above its' eye. Foxy wears brown linen pants that are shredded at the legs. It's also notable that Foxy has some golden teeth. Compared to the other animatronics, Foxy has sharp teeth. Its' upper jaw muzzle has four short black whiskers on each side.
The pizzeria has a Golden Freddy and Springtrap suit that can be worn by employers The two brothers were happy and making a lot of money. Making money is all that they cared about.
The Prize Corner is close to the Stage Area. This area is filled with the popular plush toys. There is also a station to get colorful balloons. The kitchen is normally closer to the party rooms. This kitchen is bigger than the diner's.
Down a hallway, the Party Rooms can be found here. Each room is labeled for the convenience of workers and customers. From here, the customers can't see the Stage nor the Arcade area. They are used to held various parties and to seat guests. These areas are very similar to each other. All Party Rooms has a confetti checkered floor and smooth beige walls. Each room are ventilated by air vent. The rooms has 4-5 tables topped with a multi-colored confetti pattern tablecloth. There are two neat rows of white plates, multi-colored cups, brown napkins, and black silverware. The four Party Rooms also have posters of the animatronics. "ROCK!", "EAT!", "PARTY!", and "PLAY!" are some of the posters that can be found.
The rooms are prepared at night for the following day. Sometimes one room would have a "Happy Birthday!" banner, a "Let's Party!" banner, 2 rows of multi-colored party hats, or a combination of all three. The rooms are also given a wet floor sign and place new art works of the kids on the walls. Further down the hall was the Parts/Service Room, a security office, and bathrooms. Customers are not allowed in the office or the Parts/Service Room.
The office for the night guard is large. It has a dark entrance. There are vents on both the left and right walls. There is a desk with a fan. On the desk is a monitor. There are two warning symbols on the wall above the entrance. On the left wall there is a poster that reads "CELEBRATE" and features the toy animatronics, excluding Mangle. The right wall features various children's drawings of the animatronics. There appears to be colored stars hanging from the ceiling. Monitors are positioned against the far wall with thick wires connected to them. The walls appear to be made of either gray concrete with fading confetti wallpaper as decoration. A button is positioned above each of the vents. If pressed, it will activate a light in the corresponding vent.
The Parts/Service room is near the office. It is a dirty, dusty room with wires and pipes along the walls. The floor is smooth and appears to have oil spilled on the floor. The room is not well lit. The grey walls are decorated with a green-and-blue checkered wallpaper. In the middle of the room, a narrow wall divides the space in half.
Everyday felt the same at the diner and pizzeria. There seemed to be various birthday parties from 1 to 5 . Kids singing joyfully with the bands despite the fact the bands play the same songs daily. There was also the most boring job in this business. Being a security guard whose hours are from 12 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The employees started to noticed some paranormal activities in the diner. For example, pots and pans could be seen flying in the kitchen towards closing time. Not to mention Springtrap mysteriously stopped working and had to be placed in storage. Goldie was forced to sing and attend all the guests. John knew that Goldie was not the only one working there. However, Goldie is his only worker that works for free. At the pizzeria, Freddy's band mysteriously stopped working from time to time. On top of that, the Goldie suit occasionally went missing. It can always found in the pizzeria's dumpster. No one could tell if it was just bad luck or if the robots were just withering over time.
August 8, 1982. A child and his mother are waiting for the child's dad to arrive. The mother received a call from the father. The father was telling her that he was going to be late. The child, James Crossfire, was looking though the window of the diner. He had spiky dark red hair and soft red eyes. James was wearing a gray shirt with a flame symbol at the center, dark blue jeans, and dark gray shoes. As James gazed into the only window of the diner, he could see Prize Corner. James looked over to the Party area. Goldie frantically running around the diner as it gave cake to various tables.
There was a rumor that every night Goldie is locked in a closet. It is forced to listen to the songs on the radio. James shook his head when this thought came to him. That sounded rather ridiculous. A light blue Corona Mark II car slowly rolled up to the diner. The windows were tinted black and its' plates seemed illegible. The left window was rolled down and a hand came out. The person is wearing black gloves. This stranger is holding a .45 caliber gun. Three shots are fired from the gun and James fell to the ground bleeding.
The car quickly left the scene as the mother turned around once she heard the gun-shots. She saw her child dying. The mother ran to James leaving the phone. She hugged him.
"Don't go! Your daddy is coming soon. Baby, please don't go." she said as hot tears rolled down her cheek. Hugging her child is all she can do for him.
James felt his tears coming down his cheeks. The mother yelled for help. By the time the ambulance came, James was dead. Little did James know that his spirit is about to become a part of something bigger.
Months passed. It is now 1983. Police could not locate the person who killed James. The investigation is now a cold case. The diner closed down and is forced to relocate. It came to its' "twin" location. The Parts/Service room became occupied with "broken robots".
This odd room is viewed as some kind of safe room. It has concrete floor, gray walls, and poor lighting. On door is a sign that read "Managers Only. Do Not Enter!" In this room, Springtrap is placed in a corner. Goldie and Puppet are given a second chance. Goldie had lost its' eyes and left ear. The ear revealed cables that stuck out. Goldie's fur became a darker color too. Puppet stayed the same though or so everyone thought. Puppet began acting strange. Staring at adults and scanning this place every time it got the chance to.
Freddy's band started looking different. Freddy's fur became darker and had lost its' right eye. Bonnie lost its' face which revealed his lower jaw and two red eyes. Bonnie's fur turned dark and it lost its' entire left arm. In place of Bonnie's left arm are now some cables. Chica also got darker fur. Its' beak seemed to be broken and looked sleep deprived due to Chica's eyes being more in her costume. Chica's two hands were lost which reviled cables dangling from the arms. Foxy's left ear was exposed which reveled its' endoskeleton. Like all the others, Foxy got darker fur. Its' body had certain spots where one could see its' endoskeleton. On top of this, all voice boxes were busted, which caused the band to repeat certain words. The company made more animatronics, so kids wouldn't be scared of Freddy's band.
The first to be made is Toy Freddy. Toy Freddy is designed after Freddy. However, they are different in appearance. Toy Freddy is brown with a lighter brown coloring on his belly, snout, around its' eyes, and inner ears. It has black whisker spots, black eyebrows, brown eyelids, short eyelashes, blue eyes, black nose, and rosy red cheeks. Toy Freddy's ears are smaller and more oval then Freddy. It bears a black bow tie with two black buttons beneath it. Toy Freddy wears a small black top hat with a red stripe and a silver microphone in its' right hand. Toy Freddy's face is flatter, wider, and significantly more round-shaped than the original Freddy's facial design. Its' mouth and teeth being much more buck-like. Toy Freddy also seems to be the widest of the toy animatronics. However, unlike the other toy animatronics, he appears to have a matte coating rather than a glossy finish. Toy Freddy is called Fred by some of the customers.
The next one to be made is Toy Bonnie. It is a light blue while its' belly, snout, around its' eyes, and inner ears are white. Toy Bonnie has green eyes, magenta eyelids, long eyelashes, rosy red cheeks, a circular tail, and eyebrows. It also sports a red bow tie, whisker spots, and buck teeth. Like the original Bonnie, Toy Bonnie plays a guitar that is red and white with a black neck. This one is called Bonbon by the customers.
Toy Chica was made last. It takes the appearance of a stereotypical feminine character. Toy Chica is a yellow chicken with an orange beak. It has cyan eyes, magenta eyelids, long eyelashes, magenta cheeks, and orange feet. Toy Chica has a few stray "feathers" that stick out from the top of its' head. Toy Chica's body is noticeably curvy compared to Chica's. Just like the original Chica, Toy Chica has a bib that reads "LET'S PARTY!". The bib has tiny colorized flecks like the original Chica. Toy Chica wears a magenta garment on her lower body and almost always carries the same cupcake that Chica once carried. Toy Chica is called Candice by the customers.
Toy Foxy is brought over by Circus Baby's Pizza World, a rival of Freddy's. At first, Toy Foxy had pink cheeks, red lipstick, pink eyelids, long eyelashes, red bow-tie, short teeth, pointy ears, and a small nose. Its' fur is mostly white. Pink can be seen on its' belly, the upper snout, around its' eyes, inner ears, and on its' hands. Toy Foxy bears a resemblance to a ventriloquist dummy. It has a parrot on its' right shoulder named Polly. Polly is green, yellow eyelids, yellow eye with a black pupil, a short yellow beak, and yellow feet. Toy Foxy has pink nail polish on her feet and paws.
Eventually, Toy Foxy got in a disfigured state. It seems completely irreparable from a mechanical point of view. Its' endoskeleton could now be seen. Toy Foxy's fur is still white. But, it now has pale red accents on its' inner ear, snout, and around its' eyes. Toy Foxy's right eye is still attached to its' head. Unlike its' left eye, which is not attached to its' head. The result of this has since caused Toy Foxy to be dubbed by the company as "The Mangle".
The last to be brought over from Circus Baby's Pizza World is a robot called Balloon Boy. It is a human-like animatronic with a round body, peach-colored skin, large, blue eyes, a brown triangular nose, red-brown hair, a toothy grin, and rosy red cheeks. Balloon Boy is notably the smallest animatronic in the band. It wears a red and blue vertically-striped shirt with two black buttons down the middle. The propeller cap Balloon Boy wears also bears the same pattern. It wears blue pants and simple brown shoes. In Balloon Boy's right hand, it holds a red striped balloon. On its' left hand, Balloon Boy holds a sign that reads "Balloons!". The kids call him BB for short.
The days lazily passed. Each day filled with joy and fun. This place truly is a magical world where fun and fantasy come to life.
