My first attmept at poetry (or something like poetry) in a very, very long time. It may kinda suck, but I felt the urge to create it while in class today! I cetainly hope you guys like it. It is out of the norm for me, for sure.
Dante's POV, of course. Only hinted DantexVergil.
His eyes met mine; an icy blue
The same as mine in hue.
And when he moved, I saw in him
The way that I moved, too.
His face, so flawless; perfection met.
I favored it without regret.
Funny to say, yet so very true
When I looked in the mirror I saw that face, too.
They say it is sin, but I don't have a care
For in him I saw all the love I could bare
We shared it not, for he wanted power
But I understood what words were unspoken
For he was like stone; so cold was he
And for that fact, our love could not be.
So much alike, yet so very different
It kept us apart and never together.
And when he fell, dead and so broken
I wished, in my heart, those words were spoken
Vergil, my twin, of stone and of ice
I loved you, my brother, forever and on.
