This was pretty much a random idea and I wanted to write it. So here.
Zelda was surrounded by dark creatures. They were like Primids in some ways, but we're completely black and looked lifeless. They had no weapons but Zelda was scared anyways.
For some reason, she was backed up at the edge of a rocky cliff. In front of her, barren wasteland went on for as far as the eye could see. Behind her was no ground and a plain bright blue sky.
She almost fell, but she stayed on the very edge. Another step back and she would fall to her death. Meanwhile, the dark creatures moved closer to her.
Without even thinking about it, she held out her hand. A beam of light shot out of it, hitting two of the creatures. They slowly dissolved into dark matter. About seven of them were left.
Zelda closed her eyes and hugged her chest. She suddenly felt as if she were going to die. Her stomach felt like it was going to explode. The pain was unbearable for a moment, but it went away at once as she opened her eyes and threw open her arms. Pieces of light, like broken shards of glass, flew out of her from all sides.
All the creatures dissolved, and Zelda stared at her hands wondering how she had done that.
"It's time." She said, her voice echoing. She had no idea what that meant, but she knew something big was coming.
Well that was a short chapter but they obviously won't be that short from now on. Anyhow, this chapter was going to be much longer, which I shall explain in the next chapter.
