"Alice why are we going to Chicago?" I asked for the millionth time.
"I want to see something." She repeated.
"Does Edward know?"
"I don't think so but everyone else knows." Alice said.
"Well Carlisle can you tell me what is going on?" I asked.
"Sorry I promised Alice I wouldn't say anything." Carlisle replied while reading some medical book.
"At least tell me why Edward couldn't come with." I begged.
"He just can't know until we are very sure about this and we think it is the right time to tell him." Carlisle answered.
For the rest of the flight I was completely lost in my thoughts. Thoughts about what lies ahead. When we got off the plane Carlisle checked us into a hotel. He got us two rooms. After we got our things settled into our rooms and we freshened up we went out to the car.
It took us about 20 minutes to get to this really old and really big house.
"Whose house is this?" I asked.
"This is Edward's house." Alice said.
"A few years after he became a vampire he decided to claim his house, so he could have one memory from his human life." Carlisle said.
"Oh ok" I said.
The house was made of bricks. It looked like it was about three stories high and like it hasn't been lived in, in a long time. We got to the front door and Carlisle unlocked it.
"If you feel weird at all tell us ok." Carlisle said
We walked into what looked like the dining room. All of a sudden I felt like I was spinning.

"Isabella are you in your dress yet?" Yelled my mother.
"Yes, Mother but could you please call me Bella?" I asked.
We were getting ready to go to the Masen's house for brunch. The Masen's are an old family friend. My mom and Mrs. Masen have been planning this brunch so her son and I could meet. I think they want us to get married in the future but I don't know for sure. Their house is 5 minutes from ours. When we got there all of a sudden my mom and dad started to be extra nice to me.
"Bella, sweetie, you look very nice today." My father said
"Thank you" I responded.
We went up the stairs and my father knocked on the door.
