"Ok, last one." Will handed Elizabeth a long box, all wrapped up in shiny red gift-wrap and topped off with an elegant green bow. It was a snowy, gorgeous Christmas Day in London and Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann had spent the past hour opening their gifts.

"Hm… I wonder what it could be." Elizabeth grinned and jokingly shook the box next to her ear, trying to figure out what her boyfriend had bought for her.

"I bet you can't guess what it is," Will said, joining her on the couch.

"Oh really, Mr. Turner?" Elizabeth slid over next to him, leaning against his chest. "Is it a pair of shoes? Handbag? Digital Camera?"

Will shook his head at every one of his girlfriend's guesses. "Nope. You are a very bad guesser, Lizzie. It's not any of those. Besides, they are too big to fit in that box. So you'll just have to open it to find out what I got you."

"Oh fine! I was gonna give up anyway." Elizabeth sighed and hurriedly slid the bow off the top of her gift. She then tore off the wrapping paper, eager to know what was inside.

"William Turner, if you got me a gift card or something like that because you went shopping too late… again… I will seriously-" Elizabeth went silent as she stared at the present. Will had bought her a pearl necklace with matching earrings. They were stunning, freshwater pearls. "Oh Will!"

Will smiled as Elizabeth threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. "I love them." she whispered in his ear. "Thank-you."

"You're welcome," he whispered back right before he met her lips in a breath-taking kiss. "Merry Christmas, Elizabeth."
