Outside of Sempai and the rest of the Deka's Tetsu hadn't much experience being around others, as far as being social went that was. He knew next to nothing about being in a relationship, about falling in love. Somehow though he must have gotten something right, somewhere out there someone had decided to stop throwing rocks in his path and give the young Tokkyou a break.

He wasn't one hundred percent positive on how it had all happened. Whenever he tried to remember the little details he found it to be such a whirlwind that he gave up. Still somewhere along the line the pieces slipped into place and he wasn't the type to question it. Lest something try to take it all away from him, though if they did he'd fight tooth and nail to keep it. Every time he saw that smile, listened to the rants about Masumi neglecting his vegetables, or the ones about Sakura-neesan and her dreaded paper work, Tetsu could swear that he was the luckiest person on the planet.

Some nights, with Eiji fast asleep and curled up beside him; he lay awake and just watched the shorter man. The rise and fall of his chest as he breathed, the way all that soft hair would fan out on the pillow. He wanted to memorize every detail, every sculpted plane. Of course he never voiced his opinions when Eiji was awake because he knew there would be plenty of teasing laughter.

Still even with the teasing, the ever constant worry in the back of their minds anytime one of them went to fight… He wouldn't trade a single second. He had everything he ever wanted right there by his side.
