Ruby Rose now the age of 37 was flipping through a photograph albums with a fond smile on her face, she traced each faced of every friend she sees, going on she lands on a picture of her and Penny, the first friend she's ever lost.

Ruby's lips melted into a melancholy smile as she stands up and puts her photo album back in its shelf.
"Well it's time for my baby to come home."

She twirls around walking towards the oven, which dinged, taking out the tray of cookies she gave a sniff before putting them all on a plate before putting the tray away.
"Oh these turned out great!"
She squeals before the doorbell rang.

With a large smile on her face she puts down the cookies and opens the door and is immediately tackled.
"Momma!"
"Hi sweetie!"

Her child grins up at her with a wide smile and a missing tooth.
"Momma I made a new friend!"

Ruby claps her hands.
"That's wonderful! Is she waiting outside?"

Her child nods
"Yes momma!" Her child then turns and runs out dragging in a familiar figure, "Momma! This is Penny, she's really nice!"

Ruby's eyes widened and looked at the figure before her, it was Penny as she remembered her but with a few changes, although she noticed 'she must have been rebuilt recently,' Ruby thought 'although Penny doesn't seem to recognize me at all.' her eyes watered before she blinked the tears away.
'It's not surprising but it still hurts.'

Ruby shook her head and gave a bright smile
"Nice to meet you! I'm Ruby Rose!"

Penny smiled
"SAL-U-TATIONS! I'm Penny its nice too meet you!"

Ruby's eyes started tearing up again, it was like she was a kid again, this Penny acted like the Penny she remembered.

She felt a tug on her Cloak looking down she saw her child looking up at her worriedly.
"Momma are you okay? You look like you're crying."

Penny fidgets and blurts out,
"Is it my fault mam? I apologize if you don't approve, but I promise I mean no harm at all!"

Ruby gave her child a reassuring pat on the head while giving a Penny a reassuring smile.
"I'm okay, I just remembered somebody, your just remind me a lot about her Penny."

Penny opens her mouth to speak but realizes this is not the time, nodding she gives a bright smile in return,
"I'm sure she holds you very dear miss Rose! You seem like a very nice person!"

Ruby stands up and gives Penny a hug her voice quivering,
"Thank you, can we talk about it later?"

Penny nods and returns the hug,
"Of course mam."

Ruby untangles herself from the hug and raises a fist in the air
"Now who want's cookies?!"

Penny and her child perked up
"I do momma!"
"Some cookies would be absolutely SENSATIONAL!"

Ruby nodded her head and lead both inside.
"Come on then! Let's hurry before it gets cold!"
'Even if this Penny can't remember me maybe it's better this way? Maybe..this is like a new start, a better beginning!'

She grinned,
'That's right this is a new, better beginning, I'll make sure I won't waste it!'
