Happy anniversary to me. Or storyversary as one person aptly put it. It was one year ago today that I started putting ideas to paper (cyberspace?) for season eight. One year. I have been working on this now for much longer than it took for them to create the real season eight. I try not to think about that and keeping telling myself that I don't have the luxury of working on this twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
When all these ideas were running around in my head I couldn't figure out how to make them all mesh together. Finally realized they weren't all meant to play together, they were two different stories. They do, however, share a beginning. The chapters titled, "Sock Hop," "Post Sock Hop," and "Does Anyone Have a Plan?" from "The Season Eight That Lives etc.," are also the first three chapters for this story. This chapter, "Marinara" takes places after "Does Anyone Have a Plan?" and before "Time Flies When You're Trying to Have Fun".
There is still more to come for "The Season Eight That Lives etc.," just nothing ready to post tonight.
