The rain poured heavily on the Albino man, who stood shaking.
Drip.
Drop.
Those weren't rain drops, those were his tears; his tears for her.
For her beautiful brunette locks that bounced whenever she moved, her honey-comb coloured eyes' gaze, her soft olive skin, and her bright luminous smile had been taken away from him; was all gone.
Gone.
He gritted his teeth at the word, clenching his hands into fists. His love - his life - was gone, and he couldn't do anything about it.
Drip.
Drop.
Drip.
Drop.
"Papa, are you okay?"
"Papa, you shouldn't cry like that…"
The two children hugged him tightly, the albino man returning the embrace. He choked out a few tears, his ruby eyes dull and dead.
Dead.
Drip.
Drop.
The beeping from monitors, the smell of cleaning alcohol lingering in the air, the tap of the walking footsteps and the creaking of wheels from wheelchairs and carts; he remembered it all.
"Damn it! You're not going to die!" The man clutched his fiancée's hands closely, tears threatening to fall. The Italian woman gave a small, weak smile. She gently swept her finger - now thin and pale – across his cheek, wiping the tears away.
"You know that I will live…" She began. The Albino man stayed silent. "I need my rest now…"
"You have to wake up, then." The man's eyes were glowing with determination. She let out a soft giggle, her life still showing as her moments ticked away.
"But… Just in case I don't wake up… I want you to take care of our family…"
"I will! I promise! Just…" He paused. "If you die, I will go back up to heaven just to drag you back down. I won't let you leave us." She smiled even wider.
"Why aren't you fired up?"
"This isn't a joke." She giggled again, and the Albino man folded his arms. She caressed his cheek, her own waterworks forming in her eyes.
"Ti amo mille…"
Drip.
Her heartbeat…
Drop.
It slowed to a stop that day.
Drip.
His heart…
Drop.
Broke into a million pieces.
Drip.
The two lovers shared a laugh, both enjoying the liveliness of each other's company. Holding each other close, the Albino man grinned ear to ear while the Italian woman gave a shy smile.
"Ti amo mille, Gilbert!"
"Ich liebe dich, Feliciana!"
Drop.
Sheep:
On Sunday 22, 2012 (or around that time) Feliciana Vargas (Hetalia Axis Powers)'s Admin died from lung cancer. Many RPers and fans of her have mourned for her loss and have hoped that she had gotten better. Sadly, after she had chemotherapy and many surgeries, the cancer had still spread throughout her body and she was sent home since there was nothing else that could be done.
I wrote this FF especially for Mari, and I really hate the fact that I never got to RP with her. What makes this worse, after I had a RP/conversation with the Prussia engaged to her Fem! Italy, I set off to find her. Weeks later, I find out that /she/ was the Fem! Italy I was looking for, but she had died. Rest In Peace, Mari. You really deserve a nice rest now, but millions of us people back on Earth are going to miss you!
I also based this FF on the Prussia that was engaged to her. I hope that this doesn't make you all too depressed or anything...
