AN: pretty much an AU. Don't know if it will be continued, it's just a random plot I thought of. justin timberlake and beth riesgraf totally need to do a movie together. so, i took his role from Edison as a journalist, and hers as a thief from Leverage and created this. includes Clayne Crawford as Quinn.
In a warehouse, somewhere in Paris, a slight figure all in black crept along the rafters. She was absolutely silent, had to be, as she reached down and landed next to a crate. The security code and lasers were fun to disarm, she kind of liked playing in them. But then again, that was a thief's artform. Just a little tug on the lid and she'd have the Dagger of Aqu'Abi. It was shiny, she liked shiny. Smirking as it touched her hand, the young blonde woman did a little dance. She vaguely remembered her mentor saying no sharp objects but this one was too pretty not to steal. Just as the small thief was about to slip through the lasers and out the window, a crash sounded behind her.
Clapping could be heard as a tall but built man stepped from the shadows and lights filled the room. The girl froze, suspicious.
With green eyes, blonde hair pulled back, and a business suit, the man assessed her. "Well, well, if it isn't little miss Millie Parker." The guy was southern but somehow working for the Russian mob. Word was he took down a fellow rival's enemy and gained the guy's empire.
"Just Parker, thank you. And if I remember correctly, you're Quinn Davis?"
"Yes ma'm, and don't worry. You weren't caught," as if he could hear her mentally retracing her steps. "My men and I set out the `dagger for you because we have a job for you."
After squinting at Quinn and his two henchman Parker calculated things. Could she escape them and get out with the pretty sword? Or should she listen and take the job?
"$5 million," he added with a smirk.
"What were you thinking of?" she finally asked. Parker knew she shouldn't mess with the Russians, not after that job in Belgrade; but this is alot of money...
