Good Things Come to Those Who Wait
Why did this happen,
I will never know.
I was happy,
And the world was at peace.
Then they came,
And nothing was the same,
What they did was insane,
They cause so much pain.
I was taken as a slave,
I wish things were not the same.
Why did they pick me,
I will never know.
Everyone called me lucky,
I didn't think so.
Not at first,
Not until he came along.
My prince in shining armor,
The truest love I've ever known.
He took me away,
Made me his wife,
Gave me a home,
Gave me new life.
Now I am queen,
Of a beautiful planet.
Full of people who protect,
Not destroy,
Not whine or betray.
Life is wonderful,
Now I am free.
I have completed my destiny,
To become queen,
And rule with honor and dignity.
