Legally Blonde: The Musical

Elle and Emmett are practicing on the stage.

"That's the weirdest reason I have.."

"Oh, why'd you come?" Elle asked.

"Okay." Emmett begins to say as he walks over to the bench where Elle was sitting.

Suddenly he slips on something on the floor and he knocks his head on the bench. Then blackness overcomes him and he knew no more.

He wasn't sure how much time had past but he began to hear his name from far away.

"Emmett? Can you hear me? Emmett?"

Then he opened up his eyes and he noticed that he was still lying on the floor. He also saw that Elle was next to him, while still wearing her bunny costume still on with a very concerned look on her face.

"Are you okay?" she asked him helping him sit up.

"Yeah, I think so but what exactly did I slip on?"

"I'm not really sure."

"Okay. Do you have any meds?"

"Excuse me?"

"Med. Medication. Aleve for my headache."

"Oh no, I don't. Where do you think I would put it?" she asked laughing. She was referring to her costume.

"That's true," he said standing up with her help.

As soon as he stood up all the way, a wave of dizziness came over him.

"Woah!" he said stumbling a little bit.

"Are you sure that you are okay?" she asked helping him sit on the bench.

Then the director found some Aleve and a cup of water and a second later, he handed them to Emmett.

"Thanks," he replied as he took the medication with the water.

"Do you think you can continue on with practicing?" the director asked.

"Sure, but we need to fix whatever I slipped on first," Emmett replied.

So the director walked over to the bench to see what he had actually slipped on. There was nothing there but he did notice that the floor was a little wet.

"For some reason, there's a small, wet spot near the bench. I'll get someone to clean it up."

So a few seconds later, the wet spot was gone.

"Take two," the director yelled off the stage. The rest of the rehearsal practice went smoothly and Emmett felt a lot better when the opening night came around. On opening night, everything went fine and no one messed up.
