As I sit there I think of all that happened in the past, and how fast the past flew by. All the good times and all the bad times. All the drama and all the fluff.
I remember how I met the love of my live and all the hard times we want though, how it all started and nearly ended.
Our first time, our first fight, our first make up sex, our first adversary, our first everything and there are so many of them.
When I think back I see how we went though all through misery and through happiness.
Although there were times we nearly fell apart we made it and every crisis made our love even stronger. And that's the only thing that's holding me together now. Our time had passed and that's why he had to go. I have to be patient, since I will be joining him shortly. It was never our destiny to be apart.
I feel lonely although here I am surrounded by our family and friends. Our children, grandchildren, cousins, in laws and still I feel lonely since he is not here anymore.
But soon, soon I will be joining him and no one will be able to part us. No one.
Soon my love, soon we will be reunited.
I see the worried glances of our beloved sons and daughters and of their children and children's children. They all worry about health. But I'm old and they know I want to follow you.
O how much fortune we had. We were blessed with our children and our love. And our children were blessed with their loved ones.
We are truly fortunate.
