These trees remind me of home. So does the wind. It reminds me of the Maki, oh how I wish I were there. It's very quiet today, that's unusual, considering it is a public area.

"Hiei?" Just as I suspect, it's Kurama, with a kind smile on his face. As always.

"I do hope that you woke me for a reason, because if you didn't I'm going t have to kill you." Of course I was kidding, and he knew it to, but just to thrill me he replaces his smile with a sad frown.

"You know Hiei, I've noticed that you're becoming death threat happy lately. That's not very nice now is it?"

"Hn, and I should care why?" I can hear the thunder now, no wonder why nobody's here.

"No reason, it's just that no one has seen you lately, and all you do is stay up in that tree all day long, I guess some people are worried about you."

"That person being you. However, I could care less what people think of me, and my tree…"

"I don't see your name on it." Stupid fox interrupted me, but I lean forward anyway to show him that I actually did carve my name into the tree.

"You've gone to a new extreme haven't you?" He said smiling again.

The rain started coming down, well more like came pouring down. A few drops land on my arms and steam rises from where they land; they make me hiss with discomfort.

"Does the rain really hurt you?" His smile showing concern now, he loves the rain apparently. I loathe it.

"Sometimes." Upping my body heat so the raindrops evaporate before they hit me.

"Come on Hiei, you can stay at my house tonight mother won't mind she says that I should have friends over anyways"

"Is this your way of making a pass at me, fox, because I don't like you that way."

I smile and jump to the ground anyway.

"Funny, are you comin' or do you want to sit in the rain all night?" He smirks and starts walking.

"Just until the rain stops."
