HEY! Well, I promised Angelika this a while ago- just before LAL was finished. I wasn't going to do it, I was trying to lean away from it, but I missed it too! Also, she's amazing, and deserves it. I don't think it's my best work, but it's definitely a plain one-shot. I hope you enjoy it, Angelika- and everyone else of course, REVIEW DARLINGS!

Her eyes drifted towards the sky, she had never imagined her final exam going so easily. Now, as her mother drove her towards Christine's pool party, the realization finally hit her; It was summer. Without a word Angelika's head jerked up, her hand reached for the radio, and she flipped it.. Waiting for a sign.

Then Connect Three's song began to play.

"Oh, the new one?" Her mom piped up.

Angelika smiled at her mother, and without a breath, she said, "Okay mom, we're going to play the radio game, I'll ask a question- you turn the dials.. The answers will be in the song, okay?!"

Her mother raised an eyebrow, just as they turned, "Well, all right."

Angelika sat back into her seat, her eyes locked on the traffic in front of her. This was her destiny, this would be the sign that she needed. She inhaled, concentrating on questions that had been flooding her mind since Shane kissed her.

Her mother's hand was already grazing over the surf button, waiting.

"Does Shane love me?"

Her mom's head snapped to her, "Love? Love, honey? You've only been dating-."

"MOM!"

Her mom pressed the button and lyrics from the Plain White T's filled the car. Her mother began to laugh, but she found no humor in the song.

"I don't even know what I liked about you.
Brought you around,
and you just brought me down.
Hate is a strong word,
but I really, really, really don't like you.

I really don't like you...

Thought that everything was perfect,
Isn't that how it's supposed to be?"

"Okay that was a test song, it doesn't count," Angelika declared, switching the station quickly.

Her mom was shaking her head, "Whatever you say, honey."

"Has Shane cheated on me yet?"

"I'm sure he hasn't che-."

"MOM!"

Mrs. DelRossi took a breath and changed the station. At first, there was a pause, but then the soft chords of 'Unfaithful' by Rihanna drifted into their ears. Angelika's fists clenched at her sides, even though it was a game, the thought of Shane with another girl made her blood boil.

Mrs. DelRossi looked at her daughter and smiled, "You can't be taking this seriously."

"Mom, the radio game is pretty much fate's way of giving you answers," the teenager explained, throwing her feet up on the dashboard, "If it says he's a cheater, it's a guarantee that Shane's a cheater."

Her mother just chuckled, "God, I swear sometimes…"

"Will I have fun at camp this summer?" Angelika asked bluntly.

Her mother went to answer, "Of course you will, you love it there. Besides, Mr. Heartthrob will be there so-."

Angelika ignored her mom and reached over to the radio, switching the station. 'So Sick' by Neo was playing. Frustrated, she shut off the radio entirely and crumbled into her seat, arms across her chest, pout on her face.

Angelika's mom didn't say anything, she just pulled onto their street.

Then, her phone started to vibrate. Angelika pulled it out of her pocket and looked at the text message.

'See you in TEN days! Miss you, Lion face!" -Shane.

A smile curled onto her lips.

"That's the real sign, that's fates way of answering you," her mother said quietly.

Fuck the radio game, Angelika thought.
