10,000 years ago

a meteor steaks toward earth traveling at great speed, it violently crashes to the ground then it starts glowing purple as it reveals its true self, the midnight emerald

and whith it a terrible curse, the curse of the heartless...........

present day

it was a fairly ordinary day on earth,the sun was shining the birds were , all was calm and a certain blue hedgehog laid on the grass he was thinking about all the times him and his freinds had saved the world an how everyone on earth knew there name he was resting until...."SONIIC" he opened his eyes and looked to where the noise came from and saw knuckles running towards him he calmly said "hey knux whats up" knuckles only ran faster "ermmm....knux are you ok?" knuckles ran strait past him and carried on and randomly blurted "i was too late to stop it, its unstopable run for your lives" sonic muttered "*sigh* probably another one of eggmans robots terrorising staition sqaure again". he ran off to the scene an saw something..."what is that it isn't a robot i should take a closer look" he ran up to the figure and stood behind him "hey you what do you think your doing?" the figure turned around and faced sonic "m-m-mario?" sure enough it was mario, his clothes had turned black and dark blue whith pale skin, glaring yellow eyes and a symbol on his chest it was a black heart whith a red cross on it, he spoke "get out of my way or die" sonic replyed "no way i am not gonna let you destroy-" then suddenly mario shot a red beam at him and sent him crashing through a building, sonic struggled to get up mario was just about to finish sonic off when someone called "i found the chaos emerald" sonic looked in the direction it came from and saw a dark purple dragon whith yellow eyes and that same symbol on his chest and wings, mario looked back at sonic and said "your not worth it" and walked off.

sonic was sitting there in the now ruined staition sqaure, buildings were reduced to rubble, many cars were over turned and burning and GUN soldiers who tried to stop this attack laid dead or injured, sonic felt usless the day was going so well and now staition sqaure was reduced to a burning pit and sonic could do nothing to stop the attack then sonic saw someone, he examined them closely an saw it was a yellow dual tailed fox sonic then said "is that...tails?" (tails has been missing for 3 years) sonic ran up to his freind but stoped suddenly, tails was wearing a black leather jacket and jeans and was holding two silver hand guns tails turned when sonic was right behind him and he held sonic to the wall by his neck and put a hand gun up to sonic's forehead tails gave a low growl to sonic. sonic muttered frightendly to tails and said "e-easy tails it's me y-y-your buddy s-sonic" tails put his hand gun away and let sonic go and said "sonic is that you?" "well..yeah it is me, tails you've......changed and were did you get those guns" "no time to explain grab my hands" sonic did what tails said and whith that tails took off into the sky whirling his tail's like a propeller.

a few minuites later. sonic questioned "tails whats going on" he replied "i saw knuckles earlier he tried to fight off those two but they over powered him before knuckles ran off he told me to find you and meet him and the others at down town metropilis at an old GUN base"
