I AM OBSESSED WITH HUNA/LUNARRY. Sorry if you aren't :)
You have been bitten by the love bug. It seemed so annoying, taunting you every day.
But honestly, it wasn't your fault that you got infatuated with a certain witch. She was just so clever- no, wise and it just rubbed off on you. You find yourself taking butterbeer corks and peering at mistletoe like her.
'Knock it off!' You shout to yourself, frustrated.
You were at the lake, alone . It was evening already. Most of the students had gone to the Great Hall to eat or something. The memory of how you came here was vague. But why you came here is very clear. You just needed to get away from her.
You feel yourself slipping away again, thinking of her luscious silver waves in her hair and a phoniex feather tucked neatly behind her ear. She really had a way with animals. You begin to think if she would become the Care of Magical Creatures teacher in Hogwarts after a few years. You chuckle as you picture her lecturing the students about Helions, Wrackspurts and Nargles. She was really something.
Then you groan as you realize you allowed yourself to think too far. What is wrong with you?
You sink down to the ground and let out a long and deep breath. You also resist the urge to punch a tree.
The teeny little crush you had on her when you first met her had begun to grow bigger and bigger until you couldn't even hear yourself think about other stuff. It was like your brain wouldn't even allow it.
Every time you see her, your heart pumps faster and every word seems that comes out of your mouth is not well-thought through. Every time she speaks, you find yourself clinging on to every word, then disappointed when she stops. Then you start replying with a lot of stuttering and look like a-
You are suddenly jolted out of your reverie. 'I knew you were here.' A melodious voice drifted to him, and he breathed in the smell of butterbeer.
You realize you haven't replied yet. 'Hey Luna. So, uh, what brings you here?'
'Oh, I was worried. You usually go down to the great hall at this time.' You smile. She noticed you.
'Well, I have been distracted by something.'
'Hmm, what is it? Can I help?' You can't help but notice the twinkle in your eye.
After a few seconds of silence, you decide to answer, 'It's kinda personal.'
'Is it a girl?' She sounds amused and you are a bit suspicious.
'Well, yes, but I'm not sure she likes me back.' How can he be doing this so calmly? Just saying it in front of her like that?
'Who doesn't, Harry Potter?'
You are confused. 'Doesn't what?'
'Like you.' She leans forward in one swift motion as brushes her lips against your cheek. You sigh in happiness.
The meaning of her sentence sinks in, and you find yourself grabbing Luna's hand, saying with a wink, 'Let's go to the kitchens. There's less people there.'
You have been bitten by the love bug. And you don't mind at all.
