Haha yeah this is very short. Originally it was going to be a yaoi between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow but I was too lazy to write it all so I just wrote it as friendship... sort-of. If you want me to put up the yaoi version I will be happy to put it up.

As my blade plunged into his chest he looked up at me and for that moment I no longer saw the man who had tried to kill me moments ago, no, I saw the boy who had been my best friend, practically my brother. As I pulled the blade out of him he fell backwards off the edge. Momentarily I contemplated grabbing his arm and pulling him up, but I couldn't. He was the enemy and, he was already dead. I sank to my knees in sorrow, behind my mask a silent tear fell down my cheek, silent, like me. The loss of an enemy, a friend, a rival, and a brother all in one person, all in one instant. I am sorry, my friend.
