"My Darling Riza"
Riza Hawkeye looked wide eyed and sad as she held the body of her dying Commanding officer in her arms. She could feel the tears streaming down her face.
It had only took a few bullets in the wrong places to bring Colonel Roy Mustang to his knees. He fell into the arms of the blonde Lieutenant and looked at her the whole time.
Riza finally snapped out of her feelings and felt someone tugging at her sleeve, she looked down again to see Roy meeting her eyes.
"Riza...I...am...so...sorry...But I am not gonna make it...I want you to know something though." Roy whispered to her.
Riza put her hand on Roy's mouth "Shhhh...Don't talk so much Sir." She said with tears in her eyes which came heavier.
Roy removed Riza's hand softly from his mouth and looked into her deep brown eyes "No...I have to say this...I...I love you, Riza. I always have...But you know the laws sweetheart...But now I can't hold it anymore...I am in love with you...And I only have one thing to say." He said to her.
Riza searched his eyes for a response but then spoke up "Whats that, Colonel?" She asked him, still touched by his confession.
Roy moans in pain as he holds her face close to his "Dont forget me." He whispered before giving her one last kiss and just like that...His eyes closed and he was gone.
Riza's eyes went wide with fear as she hugged him and cried "I...I love you too Sir. I always have and I always will." She whispered to him.
