Hidden And Afraid

Molly Weasley sat next to her cousins at the Gryffindor table. Her twin sister, Lucy sitting beside her as they watched the rest of the sorting. Molly didn't want to be there, she realized. There were way to many people around. As she pretended to watch the sorting, she was inwardly starting to panic.

Everyone around her was apploading as someone else got sorted into Gryffindor, but Molly was miles away. She stood abruptly and did the only thing her panicked mind was telling her to do; run. So she ran as fast as she could out of the great hall, ignoring her sister and cousins calls.

Her chest felt like it was closing in but Molly didnt stop running, she ran outside and within two minutes she was off Hogwarts grounds. I wonder if they're following me? Molly thought which only rose her panic even more. When she couldn't run anymore she stopped and looked around at where she had ran too. Hogsmeade, she thought as she walked around the small villiage, maybe I can get a train home.

"Excuse me, miss," a tall man said looking at Molly with a weird expression, "But shouldn't you be at Hogwarts?"

Molly looked at the man with wide eyes, her chest beginning to ristrict again, "Y-yes."

The man smiled, "And why aren't you? Did you get lost?"

Molly shook her head and started running again, the tall man who she didn't know freaked her out. Why would he want to talk to an eleven year old? She sighed when, again, she couldn't run anymore and decided it would be best if she went inside a shop. Molly had never been to Hogsmeade before, but having all the older cousins that she did she heard all about it. She went inside the shop that she figured looked like Honeydukes and sat down next to the wall, shrnking herself into a ball. Don't cry, she coached herself, your okay.

"Molly!" Lucy screamed after her twin sister, she was afraid this was going to happen. When Molly was five shewas diagonised with severe Anxiety and ever since then whenever she got overwhelmed she ran away from the situation. Molly and Lucy both wanted to go to a private school, where there was less people, but they're parents wouldn't allow it.

"Hogwarts is a much safer place since I've been there, sweetie," they're mother, Audrey said with a smile, "You have nothing to worry about."

"Lucy, calm down!" Dominique, Lucy's seventh year cousin said with a frown, holding her arm so she couldn't run after Molly.

"But Domi!" Lucy stared to protest but was quieted with a look from her cousin, "Leave this to the adults, Luce, we'll find your sister."

"Honey, it's closing time," the lady that ran the store said a while after Molly got there, "Are you okay?"

Molly sniffed and shook her head, "I wanna go home."

"Why aren't you home?" the lady asked passing Molly some sweets, "On the house." she said as she sat next to her on the floor.

"Thank you," Molly said, taking the sweets, "Because I'm eleven and should be at Hogwarts but I don't even knowhow to get back."

"There's a tunnel in the cellar," the lady said with a smile, "But you have to promise not to tell the whole school."

"I promise," Molly said with a smile, "Thank you."

"Where could she be?" Dominique asked her best friend, Roxanne.

"I don't know, anywhere really," Roxanne replied, shrugging when she saw Molly's strawberry blonde hair next to a portrait. "Molly?"

"Hi," Molly said shyly, "I'm kinda lost."

"We noticed," Dominique said with a smile, "Lets get you to the common room, hm?"

Molly nodded, maybe Hogwarts wasn't going to be so bad after all.
