He crouched on the rooftop, occasionally looking over the ledge and sniffing the air for any scents which might signal that food is near. He hadn't had any food for days, or was it weeks? He didn't keep track anymore, he just waits, there wasn't much point in keeping track of time when you are an undead monster, is there? He looked around onto the other rooftops and saw a few shadowy figures in hoodies running along, others like him, who had been infected when all of this had started. He started growing tired of waiting in the same area so he started leaping across the buildings and screeching, hoping to find something to eat.
As the hunter leaped from building to building, there was a loud bang, and a bullet tore through his leg and the hunter screeched loudly. As the hunter landed, he rolled and looked over to a man who was slowly approaching him, Shotgun raised. The man was wearing a bloody black jacket and jeans and had a 9mm handgun in it's holster. Quickly, the hunter leaped and rebounded off of a wall, and pinned on the man to the ground, hitting the shotgun out of his hand. He started ripping through to the man's stomach, his man's screaming and his earlier gunshot attracting more of the undead, mostly common infected with a few Boomers and Smokers trying to push through the horde. Some of the common infected were trying to push off the hunter and eat the man their selves, but the hunter was too indulged in the bloodlust to notice them.
After a few moments the man was dead and blood was pouring out of the gaping he where his stomach used to be. The Hunter had eaten his fill and had climbed back up onto the rooftop to let the rest of them fight over whatever was left. He looked around and noticed more infected banging on the windows of some of the stores, trying to break down the door or smash through the glass. In the distance he saw a small group of survivors fighting their way down the streets, guns blazing. The Hunter decided to follow them down and choose a perfect time to pick one off…
So, that's chapter 1! Tell me your thoughts and give me suggestions on the story, this is my first fanfic so please be kind.
