prolog: "A Land Without Magic"
Henry Miles. No, that was Henry swan now, isn't it? looked at his mom's new boyfriend.
"No!" he wanted to scream. "You can't be with him. You need to be with my dad!" but he hadn't. Because even if Henry Miles knew his father, knew the man who was Rumpelstiltskin's son, Henry Swan hadn't.
That was confusing at the beginning, wakening up with two sets of memories but he got used to this. Henry miles missed his dad, but Henry Swan didn't know his, and he needed to be Swan now. Put the mask of the boy who grew up with his mother in Talhasi. Not the one who grew with the evil queen in Storybrooke, Maine. That was hard, put the mask on, and hopes that his mom will remember, and he would be able to drop the show. That was hard, but that wasn't the hardest part. The hardest part was to wake up in the morning and not be sure if his memories are real or just a dream.
But then hock shows up, and Henry Miles excited because if Hock returns maybe his dad will return to, But Henry Swan wondering who is the man that kissing his mom. Just then, when hock says something about remember, Henry Miles understands that the pirate fell in love to his mother.
And then Walsh suggesting, and asks Henry if he thinks that's a good idea.
"No!" the Miles boy wants to scream. But he can't. So this is the Swan boy who smiles at Walsh and tells him that it's a wonderful idea. In that night, Henry is crying himself to sleep, missing the people that grew him up. Archie, Mari Margret, Regina, Roby, Granny and the rest of them. The people that teach him how to be, and the people he shouldn't remember.
And then something changed. His mother said no to Walsh. She took him to a trip, instead of school. She even took the old red jacket from the dresser. Hock came, and they all entered the car.
When he wakes up, Henry looks at the town he grew up in, and Pogo is running down the street. For a moment, he sees the night which Emma arrived at the first time.
And there's Archie, taking Pongo down the street.
"Hey." He said, trying to remember to himself that he can't be Henry Miles yet. Not until he'll now if they remembers.
"Hello." Said Archie. "I'm Archie and that's Pongo."
"I'm Henry Miles Swan." He said, looking for sign of knowing in Archie's eyes.
"Our mayor name is Miles." Said Archie, but Henry saw there's something deeper in there.
"I know." He said, laughing. "It's hard to forget your stepmother's name and job."
