Something inside him thought back, a tear appeared as he stared at the console he didn't want to show her what he was thinking of right now, something just told him to be brave. Of course he always missed rose, he always tried to be brave about it. He locked his emotions away so he didn't have to think about her so much, wrapping his coat round him he turned round sniffing slightly and looked at his new companion. Nerdy was about to say something when she saw his face and in midst forgot all about what she was going to say, thoughts ran through her as she wrapped her hands round him softly and rubbed his back. The tears couldn't be held in anymore, silently he leaned his head on her shoulder "What's the matter?" she asked him softly, she felt she wasn't going to get an answer but she was worried for him and was it really to blame her. She felt her shoulder start to get wet and slowly rubbed his back again his silent crying, she stayed there not moving an inch she was hungry but the doctor was more important right now and she was going to stay as long as he needed her. She heard a soft sniffing sound and looked at her shoulder he put his head on, he lifted his head up but looked down.
Nerdy lifted his head up to see him and actually looked at him, he looked like a child being told off and smiled at the time lord when he was about to apologise she shook her head "It's alright doctor, we all need time" she told him as a small little smile moved across his lips momentarily "want something to eat doctor?" he nodded not trusting himself to talk right now incase he said something "because I'm starving" that brought a smile to the time lord.
