Our story doesn't take place in some big city but rather a small town where everyone knows you and your story. Gavin has lived in this town his whole life, all 26 years of his life. This is his story of him meeting a girl from a big city is Texas, Rosita, them becoming friends, and him showing her the perks of living in a small town.

Gavin wipes his forehead sighing it was a hot day and he was working in the beating heat. Gavin was a roofer and he was fixing roofs before winter and fall get there. "Gavin get down here your shift is over" his boss looks up at him "coming" he calls out climbing down the ladder he clocks out and changes from his work clothes. He walks down the street he stops walking and looks at a broken down car and a girl trying to fix it.

He walks over "hey you need some help" she looks at him "yea do you have an auto shop here I can't figure out what's wrong with it" he nods "I'll take you there but we need to push the car". She nods closing the hood walking to the back of the car helping Gavin push the car. "Are you popular here or something" she looks at him as the fifth person says hi to him he shacks his head "nope this place is small so everyone knows everyone". She hums in response "that sounds weird everyone knowing everything about you there's no privacy that way" he shrugs "I like it if you have a problem you can ask anyone for some help and they'll give it to you" she nods looing in front of them "we're here" he stops pushing and looks at a small auto shop.

She looks at it "this is it" he nods "they maybe small but they do the best job" he walks inside she follows him looking around. "Jeffrey she needs her car fixed" an old man walks over cleaning his hands off "I'll take a look why don't you two go do something" he nods "come on" he looks at her leaving the shop she follows him hesitantly leaving her car with the stranger. "He won't take anything will he" she looks at him he looks at her "Jeffrey is a trustworthy person he won't take anything" she nods following him through the streets "it's quiet" he nods "everyone's working and the kids are in school".

"Is it always this tranquil" she looks at him he smiles "yea a lot of people walk so there's not much traffic" she nods fixing her hat looking at the stores "they're so simple" he looks at them "really". She looks at him "have you ever left this town" he shacks his head walking the park she follows him "haven't you ever been curious" he shrugs "sometimes but I like this place" he smiles as kids run between them she looks at them "this place is nice I'll give it that". He looks at his watch "come on let's get back and get your car" she nods walking back.

When they get back Jeffrey has her car in perfect running condition "wow thanks" she looks at Jeffrey "how much do I owe you" he shacks his head "nothing it's the last good dead I could do" he looks at Gavin "for Johnathan at least". Gavin nods leaving the shop she looks back at him before chasing after him "Gavin" she looks around but he disappeared in the crowed of people getting out of work she sighs "thanks for everything" she whispers. "He lives on the outskirts of town" Jeffrey walks to a back office she looks at him before getting in his car driving out of the town.

Rosita gets out of the car looking at a house "a farm that's interesting" she walks on the porch knocking on the door "hey it's you" Gavin walks up the other side of the porch. She looks at him "yea I wanted to thank you for your help and I was hoping you might want to go to dinner" he smiles "sure but I don't even know your name" she smiles "I'm Rosita" he smiles shacking her hand. "I'll pick you up tomorrow at 8" she walks off the porch getting in her car Gavin smiles leaning on the railing watching her drive off. This was going to be a fun time a big city girl and a small town boy.
