The Game of Chess
"Interesting game, chess is. Isn't it Albus" I have to use every will in my body to keep a calm facade. The manipulative bastard smiled at me and said "indeed." He thinks he is so clever so powerful. Well he is powerful just not as much as I. I quickly bypass his pathetic excuse for occlumency. His thoughts disgust me he thinks of me as nothing more than a pawn. Thinks of me naive and weak. I nearly break my facade and smirk. I turn back to him and say, "Care to indulge me in a game" once again he smiles "but of course my child."
We set up the board he thinks himself generous because he is letting me play as white. Ha if only he knew. I start off with moving a pawn, and say "Pawns are thought to be the weakest piece in the game" I simply state. He replies moving one of his pawns "I have to disagree pawns can be extremely useful" I allow him to capture all but one of my pawns. Once again I sweep his mind, I see the thoughts of him expecting to win.
We get to the end of the game and the only pieces I have left are my queen and my lone pawn. I smile and say "looks like you are going to win" He smiles "Ah I have played this game for quite some time now" I move my pawn. He makes a move that is so idiotic and it costs him. I move my pawn once again and say "Checkmate old man"
He frowns, and I smile evilly "You see the thing with pawns is that even though they are the weakest piece they can still pull through, you made a mistake old man, I am not a piece in your game anymore Albus." I say a silent and wandless spell and in an instant he is tied up. He looks terrified as he should be. "Oh don't worry I'm not dark, nor am I light." He tries to speak but can't. I smile evilly "But alas I cannot allow you to remember this, it would mess up my plans" I take my wand out this time and say the incantation "Obliviate." I quickly untie him. He wakes up and I put a innocent face on. "Sir are you alright, you just passed out." He frowns and says "I am fine, but I don't remember calling you to my office Harry."
