She knows something is wrong with her.

She figures that out the moment when she's stuck in a chair in front of some witch hunters who want to kill her. In the inside she's laughing. It's a hysterical laugh egging on Luke to kill her, to see him attempt to do it.

When he tries to kill her she feels that power. The one that's always whispering bad things to her since she arrived to this godforsaken town. It's the voice who was admiring the demon in Heather, it was the one rooting for Abbadon to take over Nick and never let go. It was the voice inside of her head that made her beam on the inside for murdering Luke.

It felt so good, so thrilling.

Cassie's not like the others in the circle. She can tell. They are all about the good whether they know it or not. They have morals, and values, and she can read their true auras. They are all full of blinding, nauseating lights that scream innocence. Even Faye has that annoying bright light hidden behind her bitchy personality.

But Cassie, oh Cassie's aura was the purest and darkest of blacks she had ever seen. It's why she's so attracted to Jake. He's got the same aura she does, but his a little lighter (she doesn't care).

It's obvious he's a witch hunter (but she knows he's not really). It's the ultimate revenge she thinks. Making them think he's on their side only to betray and massacre the rest of the witch hunters who have been after him since he was seven.

Cassie thinks she might join him on his path of vengeance. She always had a lustful desire for danger.

She'll pretend to be perky, scared little Cassie (she's not though).

Looking in the mirror she'll put her mask back on; the one that fools even her naïve little Grandma and Charles, and Dawn…because they're not as sneaky as they think.

The darkness has always called to her even in the purest of lights.

What can she say, like father like daughter.
