''How are you going to try to defeat me this time? Are you going to shoot at me? Are you going to kick me down?'' D'Void asked while he grinned.
He focused on Helen and Manny with Pierce. *Perhaps my pet Null Guardians won't pursue my enemies this time. Perhaps my pets will actually tear them apart.* D'Void turned his head. He still grinned while many Null Guardians flew out of his citadel.
*My pets will protect me* D'Void thought.
''You won't grin after you are in a cell for conquering the Null Void,'' Pierce said to D'Void. He frowned at the Null Guardians.
''You'll always grin after you rot in your grave,'' D'Void informed Pierce.
Manny revealed two weapons before he aimed them at D'Void. *I won't hesitate to shoot at the Null Guardians. I have to protect Helen and Pierce* he thought. Manny faced Pierce and Helen for a moment. D'Void was still his main enemy. He had to prevent D'Void from conquering additional dimensions.
''Remember, Manny. We are going to arrest D'Void,'' Helen said.
*D'Void is going to use the Null Guardians to kill us. I must end his life this instant* Manny thought. Scowling, he shot at D'Void before two lasers struck the latter.
D'Void cried out before he collapsed at a snail's pace. He closed his eyes. He opened them a few seconds later. D'Void viewed a Null Guardian attacking Pierce with Manny and Helen. *The Null Guardian is avenging me?* D'Void smiled. *I'll reveal I'm still alive after my enemies are deceased.* D'Void fell asleep.
