"That sounds like a bad idea."

Hermione Granger stated in an accusatory tone. On the inside, she thought it sounded exciting and had her heart racing. Ron couldn't know about that though.

Ron Weasley rolled his eyes.

"You should loosen up. Bad and fun don't mean the same thing."

Hermione internally huffed. She knew that. She wanted to charm the dungeon's corridors pink, but she couldn't. It could ruin everything.

"I know that Ronald." She paused. Would it really be so horrible to get over this stupid fear? The relentless fear of getting in trouble from a prank? Her parents had told her that getting trouble was for bad kids. For kids who got bad grades and didn't get into a university. Hermione had evidence against this, but could she go against her beliefs?

Yes, she could and was willing to start now.

Hermione took a deep breath and looked at Ron, who was waiting for her to continue telling him that it was a bad idea.

"Let's do it. I know a spell to make it sparkle."

Ron's jaw dropped open, then he grinned. It started small, but grew large. He wrapped his arms around her tightly. She laughed. They laughed.

Ron and Hermione wanted to start the prank right away, but went to find Harry first. He couldn't be left out on this greatness.

They found him sitting under a tree by the lake. He was reading an advanced charms book and humming to himself. Ron and Hermione shared a look, but completely different thoughts went through their heads. Hermione was wondering what else Harry could be hiding from them. Ron was wondering if Harry knew any other potential pranking charms.

"Harry, we have a prank planned." Ron said, startling Harry.

Harry looked up at them.

"We?"

Ron grinned again. Hermione blushed as Harry's gaze turned to her. His face was blank for a moment, but then his emerald eyes sparked mischievously. He closed the book.

"What's the plan?"

As Harry and Ron discussed it in more detail, Hermione thought.

Maybe showing her true self wasn't such a bad idea after all.
