Chapter 1 – Baby and Me
Phoenix was in Tres Bien, waiting for Maya to come.
"9pm... she's 2 hours late." Phoenix mumbles a he looks at his watch.
"Sir, We're about to close, so.." The waitress tells Phoenix.
"Ah, yes, I'm sorry." Phoenix says as he stands up to leave.
"Maya... did you just... turn me down..?" Phoenix asked himself.
Phoenix looked down on the ground and started walking.
It was getting chilly. He put his hands inside his jacket pocket and walked home.
*ring* *ring*
"Ah, my cellphone" Phoenix said as he searched his pockets for his phone.
"Hello..? He said.
"Daddy..? Um... we've got a problem..." a voice said over the phone.
"Trucy...? What happened?" Phoenix asked.
"Um....can you come home? I don't know if you'll believe me if I told you without seeing it." Trucy mumbled.
"Ah, oh, okay. Wait a few minutes, i'm on the way home." Phoenix said.
With that, he jogged home.
~a few minutes later, Wright and Co. Talent agency~
"Trucy...?" Phoenix called as he entered the room.
"Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" A voice laughed below him.
Phoenix looked down.
"...? Daddy!" the voice screamed in delight.
"Huh...?" Phoenix was astounded.
"Daddy! Daddy!" the voice repeated at Phoenix.
"M...Maya?!" Phoenix stammered.
"Daddy, Maya wants a cookie!" the voice tugged at phoenix's pants.
Phoenix kneeled down and looked at her closer.
"You're...Maya! But...You're 4 years old!" Phoenix stammered.
"Daddy, Maya's 5!!!" the kid that looked like Maya answered.
"So, you're...Maya..?" Phoenix asked.
"Ya!!!! Maya wants cookie!!!" Maya tugged at phoenix's sleeves now.
"Ah, uh...okay...um.." Phoenix picked her up and carried her to the kitchen.
"Ah, daddy...looks like you've found her." Trucy sighed.
"Is she...?" Phoenix asked.
"Maya? yes, i think it is her. I called Kurain village, and they said Maya wasn't there, and looking at her, same clothes, hair, eyes, everything! And she only answers to the name of Maya!" Trucy replied.
"..." Phoenix was in thought as he stared at the 5 year old little girl who was eating a cookie beside him.
"Maya?" Phoenix called.
"Yes, Daddy?" Maya answered, looking up at Phoenix with a cookie in her mouth.
"She's calling you Daddy?!" Trucy laughed.
"She started saying that when I came into the room!" Phoenix protested.
Phoenix kneeled down beside Maya.
"I'm...Your Dad?" He asked her.
"Yes! Phoenix is Maya's Daddy! I love you, Daddy!" Maya cheerfully hugged Phoenix and gave him a peck on the cheek.
Trucy was laughing like crazy.
"Daddy, your girlfriend's now you Baby! and I mean it literally!" Trucy laughed.
