I don't own Ben 10 characters.
Clancy frowned as he wandered the streets. There were two reasons why he frowned. There weren't any houses for a homeless man such as Clancy.
The cold air also caused him to tremble. Certain things caused Clancy to smile. The reasons crawled across his arms.
Clancy laughed while he closed his eyes. Many insect legs tickled his arms. Insects happened to be his constant companions. His usual frown returned. He began to shiver. He had to find shelter as soon as possible.
Clancy gasped the minute he recognized his parents' house. He wasn't with his parents after many years. He approached the door and knocked.
A man opened the front door. His eyes widened at the sight of Clancy. ''Son?'' he muttered. The man viewed Clancy entering his home.
He closed the door. ''Are you warm now, Clancy?'' he asked.
Clancy nodded and frowned. He saw how clean the living room was. That was when he remembered something about his parents.
They always liked a clean house. Clancy never said a word after his mother appeared. Her wide eyes never bothered him.
''I never saw you after years, Clancy. Stay as long as you like.'' Clancy's mother frowned. ''One condition. Insects are not allowed in my house. They are filthy.''
Clancy's eyes widened after one insect got out of his sleeve. He heard his parents while they gasped. A sheepish grin appeared on his face.
Clancy lifted the insect. He placed it up his sleeve. Clancy viewed his parents scowling at the same time. He glanced from the insect to his parents. ''Are we going to return?'' he asked.
Clancy's parents still scowled. They viewed Clancy departing.
Many insects crawled out of Clancy's sleeve. Clancy smiled at them. Insects were always going to be like relatives.
The End
